  1. So, it seems that he would be sport director and van Basten the head coach.
  2. Yes. He might hate Chelsea, but for a man who is supposed to hate Chelsea, I'm sure he is praying that our next manager is Harry and not Guus.
  3. @OliverKayTimes Redknapp won't be there. Hiddinck is the preferred. He may even have been the one to open the trapdoor on Carlo. Odds and betting are all bullshit. Hiddink is likely to be the next manager, or van Basten with Hiddink as sport director.
  4. You guys give too much credit to betting and odds.
  5. In Venezuela they also love football, and the japanese love it too.
  6. It means people are betting. It doesn't mean something is going on because of the odds. If thousands of people are betting the number 9, it doesnt mean that the number would be in the role the dice.
  7. justin, just see it. While all the world like football, you love "american football" and think "soccer" is boring. You also love baseball, barely known around the world, and Formula Indy and Nascar instead Formula 1 ( most popular race championship around the world ). It seems that you american are the "wrong" people, not the rest of the world. "American football" is considered a sport, but its strange, people play it with an armor, and usually the players are as fat as elephants.
  8. It pisses me off the idiot from press with their stupid arguments: "Ancelotti is far too gifted to watch his career take such a sharp turn" "There is an opinion forming that Ancelotti deserved to be sacked, because Chelsea started to go backwards in the Champions League, and because he appeared impotent and unable to turn things round when the team hit a prolonged bad patch in the Premier League around Christmas. While there may be something in that argument it would not have done Chelsea any harm to let Ancelotti see out the third year of his contract, because it will be an enormous surprise if Guus Hiddink, or whoever is brought in as a replacement, can turn Chelsea back into world beaters in the space of 12 months." Ancelotti is no far too gifted. He is no more than a decent manager. and Chelsea is not a NGO, who is supposed to let a manager stay another year with his poor tactics, lack of players from the academy because "he deserved respect". It won't be a suprise if Hiddink can turn Chelsea back in world beater in the space of 12 months, It would be a surprise if Carlo could manage that. I really hope we do a excellent next season to shut he mouth of these bastards from the press. All the know is to picture Chelsea+Abramovich as the worst thing that happened in football. Idiots.
  9. Another bullshit are the news claiming Abramovich want Mourinho back. I hope we'll announce our new manager soon, to avoid this kind of silly speculation.
  10. Bulshit. Its his agent trying to say: "hey, look, Pelligrini is a manager that Chelsea is looking for". When Scolari was sacked his agent claimed that Juvetus was interested, but it was a lie to say that despite being sacked by Chelsea, he was still wanted by great clubs in Europe.
  11. In Chelsea he player as a "right midfielder". He got stucked in that position. His better position is to play in a more free role, not as the first defensive midfielder, like Mikel, but as a player who also is supposed to mark, but is free to atack and play more in the central midfield.
  12. Ramires is a good player, but the fact is that he didn't played his best under Carlo. I have to admit, Carlo has his merits in this case, despite Ramire's poor start the italian never lost the faith on in, and in last games he was improving. But we didn't saw the best of Ramires yet, and imo most part of it is due to Carlo using him in an alien position.
  13. ...it seems that all these players were indicated by Hiddink. Ramires maybe, but I don't think Luiz was an Ancelotti's signing.
  14. Aint no use in making that face. A trophy is not necessarily a legacy. Gimme only one positive thing Carlo left to next season.
  15. No. Sometimes it ends. Carlo's legacy is zero. The new manager will start from point zero. Carlo did not anything new that the new manager might use. One year ago I already had my doubts about Carlo abilities. Right after the double I was saying he wasnt this genious as some would like to believe. Thats why I dont accept the term "plastic fan". I think its more apropriated to describe people who consider a manager a legend after one single season. His trophies in his first season werent enough to made up my mind, and his poor form in this season showed that Hiddink legacy wasnt as small as people said. A great coach is supposed to turn things in difficult moments. Carlo doesnt have such skill.
  16. The players only wanted a reason to get drunk in a nightclub.
  17. Not soccer nor football. Its FUTEBOL!
  18. Chelsea might try to lure Agurero, since he is a player who could easily play alongside Torres.
  19. Seriously dude, you must get off my back. I post it, feel free to believe it or not, but just remember that I also said that one respected journalist had informations that Ancelotti was already sacked, and the club was just waiting the last game to make an official statement, when you were creating topics to try to ridicule me, or were saying that you could guarantee that he wasn't get the axe. Well, the rest is history.
