  1. "The English need to nurture artists more than athletes."
  2. Torres is overrated, and Rooney too. Just read this article, and you will understand why I say he is: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/players/wayne-rooney/8545031/Wayne-Rooney-was-magnificent-despite-Manchester-Uniteds-Champions-League-final-defeat-by-Barcelona.html
  3. I told you guys...no chance he is leaving Santos right now.
  4. Lukaku. Because he is a 100kg man who can play. I also suggest us to lure some bodybuilders.
  5. Not overrated, but too much overrated. He has hiss skills, but not worth 50m. The fact that we paid too much for him show how he is overrated, and the fact so many people here got excited when he arrived reinforces it.
  6. No. Roman owns the club and should be allowed to asks the playing style he wants,
  7. I dont think Roman want Lukaku, because he want us to play like Barcelona.
  8. Its not. Yesterdays game showed that. Machester with their colossal defense were humiliated by diminutive Messi...but some people keep talking about "power, stamina, agility, fighting." This four words means nothing if you don't have the right skills. Otherwise we could ask Usain Bolt or Lebron James to be our next player.
  9. You are now one of those forum members that I'm going to ignore. You only quote my posts to talk silly things. Ronaldo, Kaká and Ronaldinho sold more shirts around the world in last 10 years than all african players in last 50 years. If you understood that I said all brazilian players sell more shirts than all african players, sorry. I'm tired of you eldinho.
  10. Thats why I said brazilians sell more shirts than the africans.
  11. Its not "we". Real Madrid paid that price for Ronaldo not only for his skills. Ronaldo's image means a lot for the club he plays for.
  12. Off course, there is even a russian team, Zenith who is not allowed to buy back player because their fans won't accept it.
  13. It really is. It seems that you dont know how football works... Why do you think Unites have Park in their squads until these days ? Asian market. I read in an official Machesters document, that if they sell Park they would lose important business in asian market. Of course its not the main factor. But do you really believe that people from football don't take such things into consideration ? Do you think that the fact that Neymar is considered by some analysts as a very marketable player don't attract the attention of clubs like Chelsea ? Do you think they are only interested in his skills ? lmao
  14. There are 5 kinds of player: - Awful - classless player, with few skills. Doesn't matter if he is important in a tactic role, or hassome good statistics. He is awful. Kalou, Mikel, Carrick, Bendtner. - Avarage - has some skills, but still has his limitations. Lady inconsistency is his friend. In great games usually don't do anything special: Malouda. - Great - lots of skills. Strong characters. Helps the team in the hard moments: Messi, Drogba, Lampard, Cech, Ballack, Terry, A. Cole, Tevez, C. Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol. - Underrated - somehow they never get the recognition they deserve, maybe because they are overshadowed by the truly greats, or because they play for small teams: Anelka. - Overrated - players who have their skills, but people try to make they look better than they really are: Torres, Rooney.
  15. In fact African players don't represent good business, they don"t sell as many shirts as south americans, and also a player from south america represents selling more shirts ( official shirts ) in those countries. People in Africa in general don't have much money to pay for a Chelsea shirt. Africa is not a good market as Brazil is.
  16. Not big changes. Would sell Kalou, Malouda, Mikel, Bosinsgwa and Ferreira, and I would also consider selling Drogba, to give Torres more confidence. To other hand Torres is an injury prone and might end up as a flop, so Drogba could be an useful squad player, if he accepts that role. I don't know if I would sell him, but I would demand the new manager to not play both together and that Torres must be his first choice until he realizes that the spanish is hopeless.
  17. In fact he is an average player who had a good 2008/09 season finish, and a really good 09/10 season. Besides that he didn't anything special. We had Robben in the past, and now people are happy with Malouda...
  18. If the with the club is moving on through choice to fresh young talent from South America, instead from Africa, its a wise move.
