Perfect post. England played an attacking football in this world cup. The game against Italy was really tight, then the way he lost Balotelii was really silly. Ball marking there. Suddenly 2-1 for Italy. Imo that mistake was even worst that Jagielka vs Suarez, because that wasn't even a counter attack. Also in the Uruguay winner he was the one marking Suarez, who was free to score. Someone will point that it was Gerrard fault, but the space Suarez had was unbelievable. Only a very biased Chelsea fan would describe Cahill performance in this WC as world class. Defense was the England weak point, and no, thats not because Baines, Glen and Jagielka are bad, its because the 4 english starting defenders are okay defenders. They are good, but not good enough to play at the highest level, like in ultra-competitive World Cup games.

Its funny to see people talking about his philantrophic stuff. This is Mourinho in his personal life. Mourinho as a manager is an arrogant guy. He is used to create antagonism. Thats why Mourinho is who he is. He is a winner. He does not care about how he achieve his success as long as he is a succesful manager. He will be a perfecf guy to manage a team like England NT, because one of the teams biggest problems is that they lack ambition, self belief and some kind of arrogance. You can say you love his character, in general I like the bad guys. But Mourinho is not Mr. Nice Guy. Few people around would describe him as a classy manager.

No one can question Mourinho CV, but he is one of the more classless characters around, and his philantrophic stuff won't change that.

Mourinho usually coach teams with big football stars that can challenge for big trophies. I really can't see Mourinho managing Portugual, unless his reputation decreases to the point there is no big club willing to give him a job. Its easier to see Jose managing England than Portugal.

Its a shame he destroyed his international career. Sometimes you make wrong decisions. Is unbelievable he choose Spain instead of Brazil. I bet he will never play for Spain again, and perhaps this was his last WC, because Spain won't even be playing in next tournament.
