After watching the ref allowing the Imps to run right through our players like it was a U7 game, Im glad Maresca did not send in any starters past Enzo to try to dictate what to do. I ask for all third string and academy kids, but then need to suffer watching what they really looks like.
After the high of winning the CWC, Im back to not really enjoying Maresca ball. Too much passing with no real plan to score. It is dull even when it works.

It is being broadcasted on Paramount+ in the US, so there will be many streaming feeds. They dont try to protect their sports broadcasts

TBH, I am still a bit wary of how much we have been burned by attacking players from Bundesliga. No doubt there are good ones, but we seem to only buy the ones that need wide open spaces to be great.

I would rather have Gittens over Noni. We have two CF that are much better at finishing than Jackson. Gittens is always looking to get the ball to them first. Noni was always looking to score, but he missed a lot. He also turned the ball over a lot. I have not seen Gittens do that anywhere near the frequency Noni did. Gittens has areas to improve but he seems to be a better fit for what Maresca wants at LW.
Could you imagine what would have happened with the Delap penalty shot had Noni been out there with Palmer off the pitch. Noni is just never about the bigger picture. He is very selfish.
