  1. Which is perfect if we want to see Chalobah/Ake/RLC breaking through to the first team.
  2. The PL whilst Mourinho was our manager (120 games). http://www.thechels.co.uk/4349-premier-league-jose-mourinho/
  3. Belgium are my second favourite national team ATM. Huge potential. Mouthwatering really. Great goalkeeper, great defence (even though they're all centre backs they're all very much adept with the ball), plenty of options in midfield. Brutal strike force. All so young as well. They get a proper coach and they can easily be number 1 in the world in my opinion.
  4. Can you please stop saying that? How many of those are youngsters? How many of those would actually be in the first team squad? Nonsense.
  5. He was actually playing CB for that goal if I'm not mistaken. Also, the greatest thing about having De Rossi in midfield is that it allows us to release Luiz as an unorthodox, auxiliary attacking weapon from CB, which is really a bonus to the whole team as it gives opposition one more threat to look after - which in turn opens and frees up more space for the likes of Mata, Hazard, Oscar and whoever is playing up front. Luiz can go forward with more ease as De Rossi will be adequately able to fill in when he goes on one of his adventures. I think De Rossi would also compliments Oscar (who's future I see in the pivot) well in the pivot and adds much needed grit in our midfield. I'd be all for this signing if we got him for a decent price.
  6. Too many people overreacting. Too many quick to use this as an excuse to blast the board.
  7. Different type of players and he's going out on loan where he'll have first team football. Comes back to us next year an even better player. Schurrle adds much needed depth in the squad. Don't see how we've been "completely screwed".
  8. I would rather have KDB going out on loan to be a starter at a CL club than him being a bit of a squad player here to be honest. Looks like its a done deal nevertheless. Good luck Kevin.
  9. They're still very far apart from us, the Mancunians, and even Spurs and Arse I think. Unless they make 3/4 serious signings I wouldn't worry too much.
  10. Means we're definitely signing a top class midfielder in my opinion.
  11. @1RobBeasley: I am pleased to officially announce that Jose Mourinho signed a contract with Chelsea FC on Tuesday night to be their new manager!!!!!
  12. @BBCSport: Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini says he has a verbal agreement to succeed Roberto Mancini at Manchester City #mcfc
  13. Name me one "world class" midfield performance Luiz has given us. Cahill and Ivanovic better defenders? Have you watched us at all this season? Luiz has been our best defender.
  14. Wasn't he played more at the left wing though? Or am I just getting confused?
  15. Baker seems to go under the radar when people speak about our youth. I like that in a way as there's no high expectation on him which will truly allow him to develop at his own pace. I think Lewis is definitely one of the top talents in our youth right now - I'd have him on par with RLC, Boga, Ake. He's a bit of a dark horse but he has as much of a chance to break through as those aforementioned. That's how high I rate him.
  16. What I don't understand is why so many are including KDB as a right winger when he's barely played there throughout his whole career...
  17. Great alternative if we can't get Shaw.
  18. Well I wouldn't quantify him getting the Ibra deal wrong (even though it does look like Ibra is moving on - he could still end up at Juve as they do need a quality striker and Ibra does fit that bill) as him writing a lot of BS recently. He has got a lot of stuff right recently. As I said before in the thread... He was one of the first to call Benitez to Napoli, Neymar to Barcelona, Falcao, James Rodriguez and Moutinho to Monaco and one of the first to say that Mourinho will sign after his last game at Real. He's pretty reliable compared to the majority on twitter. Not that I blindly trust everything he says, but he surely doesn't sprout crap.
  19. Never said they were done deals, just said they were interested in them.
  20. Only if you blindly follow everything.
  21. I'm not bitter about this at all. Falcao is a brilliant player but I'm happy that it looks like we're missing our on him simply because I don't believe he'll do that well with us. He isn't a mercenary. Don't know why people are so bitter about it. He's joining an ambitious project over at Monaco. If we really wanted Falcao he'd obviously choose us over them but it looks like the club have someone else in mind which is great in my opinion. I doubt we've even made an offer for him this summer so I don't understand why people are crying. There is no solid evidence that we actually made an offer for Falcao and he chose Monaco over us because of money. Like I said, don't know why people are so bitter - you're all just assuming scenarios. If we're going to spend big on a striker I'd rather have Cavani all day long.
