Matic is also a very complete player but he's a number 6, just like Javi Martinez is. They are very similar players, but I think Javi has a bit more going on for him defensively while Matic has more finesse about him. He's definitely no Schweinsteiger, not in that mold at all. I wouldn't sign him to play next to Matic because they're both too similar to each other, both number 6s. Signing him would be very bad because we already have Matic.

That's the thing though, they don't trust him. I'm tired of Torres and his confidence issues, he's not a little boy. If a CL all or nothing knockout game won't motivate him to begin with then God help us. I really hope Eto'o is fit for this.

That's bizarre, I don't know how you can even think of it in that way. Fernando isn't that important to us, there is no way we're going to side step both Lampard and Hazard just because Torres needs a goal. A penalty goal is really not going to suddenly make him start going on a goal spree, you're dreaming.

I think Lloris is one of, if not the best keeper in the world behind Neuer at coming off his line and rushing, it's what he does. It's one of his strengths. It's valuable in some systems i.e. Bayern's or Barca's game. No, he really isn't. He's having a bad year because Tottenham in general are a joke this season but that doesn't mean he's bad.

Really good today. Was against this signing from the start (but I never criticised him like some ridiculously did after a few minutes he had for us) because I thought he wouldn't offer us much this season but he's proving me wrong so far, growing really quickly in confidence. He's only 21, his development over the next 2 seasons is vital. Could be a diamond in the rough for us ATM.

IMO we could perhaps do with another winger.
