  1. How does this make any sense?
  2. It's the Daily Mirror... I wouldn't flinch about this until more credible sources came out and reported it.
  3. I think it's a combination of both years.
  4. Cesc Fabregas has the most assists in La Liga for the past two seasons combined and the most in the Premier League between 2007 and 2013.
  5. He's 27... If anything, he'd actually be a really good bridge for the likes of RLC, Baker, Chalobah & Swift.
  6. That team at £82m (Luis 20m, Fabregas £30m, Costa £32m). Minus Luiz's transfer and money saved this January would mean we've improved our team massively for less than £30m. It would be incredible stuff.
  7. How many world class CMs are available at £30m though?
  8. Doesn't mean much at all... He's played there a handful of times but overall he's played most of his games at CM, even this season.
  9. I can actually see him going to City if Yaya is really going to leave.
  10. Fabregas would play in central midfield for United. He hasn't played number 10 for Barcelona, Barcelona don't even play with one because they have Messi at false 9. Fabregas has played his best football in the CM position. I don't really know why you keep saying he's a number 10 when he's a number 8 naturally.
  11. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/players/cesc-fabregas/10866981/Cesc-Fabregas-can-leave-for-30m-Barcelona-tell-Arsenal-Manchester-United-Chelsea-and-Manchester-City.html
  12. Koke's release clause is £48m.
  13. £30m? He's a cunt, but I would honestly go ahead and buy him.
  14. When has that been proven to be the case to begin with?
  15. Instant success won't be dependant on having Luis or Shaw...
  16. Likewise, how do you know wouldn't Shaw acclimatise to European football either?
  17. I wouldn't mind the Filipe Luis signing but using "he's played against Ronaldo, Bale, Di Maria and Pedro" as an argument as to why we should sign him is very poor. Using the "can he cut it out in Europe?" argument in conjunction to that is poor as well. Not every right winger in Europe is Bale/Di Maria/Pedro level... Sure, Luis is a top left back, one of the best in Spain, but Shaw based on current ability is also one of the best in his position already in the PL too. Shaw plays beyond his years already. On average, the jump from PL to CL isn't even that big because you don't face the best of the best every game. You're really reaching if you're trying to use European experience as a reason not to sign Shaw IMO.
  18. Fully agreed. Rickie Lambert is a very decent player. They've actually managed to improve their strike force a lot for next year. Suarez, Sturridge, Lambert and Borini is a very potent set of strikers.
  19. Lambert is an okay signing, massive improvement on Aspas and as some have said already, gives Liverpool a plan B. Good squad depth signing. If Pool manage to get Moreno, Lallana and Lovren as well they've improved their squad a lot.
