  1. We could easily afford paying for Luis and getting Kroos in...
  2. He might be right now but for Mourinho's system (the one I think he's trying to implement) Oscar is the better option at number 10. I don't think Mourinho is dropping or selling Oscar.
  3. If we're getting him Oscar's off IMO and I just can't see that being the case. I sincerely doubt we're going to get him.
  4. Can this guy just not stop talking...
  5. Yeah, I know it's Goal but Duncan Castles is a pretty respectable journalist who basically just chose to publicise it through there (they probably paid him a lot) so I'm inclined to believe that it is all believable and well written.Plus as laeth said above, this isn't a transfer rumour but an actual interview.
  6. A sudden influx of Dutch managers to the PL... Which will basically mean more Dutch players arriving. Good stuff.
  7. Duncan Castles had an interview with DC: This bit is particularly interesting: "Part of the Brazilian's attraction to the Blues boss is his physically domineering and unconventional style, partially a product of spending his teenage years outside the academies of that nation's academy systems. He first represented a top-tier European side as an 18-year-old, having been signed by Sporting Braga's then-technical director Eladio Parames, a close friend of Mourinho."
  8. "If". If Ramires plays like he did before last season you will say otherwise as well... Unfair to write Ramires off after one poor season.
  9. This makes no sense whatsoever IMO. I love Pogba and think he's a brilliant player but he isn't necessary at all right now.
  10. I too said I would love Balotelli from the get go but the guy is an absolute nutcase. He's calmed down but I'm not sure he can be relied on for the majority of the season.
  11. Yeah, I just edited my post to link you to it but it does seem weird that Jose and Marca have some sort of dialogue going on but surely they wouldn't post made up quotes - if he didn't say them they would be in a lot of trouble.
  12. Strange. It was definitely there this morning...Edit: Here it is on their website again, seems like they've created a separate article for it: http://www.marca.com/2014/06/15/en/football/international_football/1402830156.html
  13. Van Gaal is practically Mourinho's (and Pep's) father so yes, it should be. It's going to be a great tactical match up; if LVG manages to get in the right signings, United will be a huge threat next year.
  14. I honestly laugh at all of these opposition fans that say Cesc isn't a 'Mourinho signing' (as if Mourinho doesn't like his technical players at all... ) or that he's a 'Roman buy' (here is where they try to pretend that Mou and Roman still have massive issues on transfers and stuff whilst completely ignore the fact that he allowed the Mata and Luiz transfers to happen so Jose can build the team in his own image ). Mou must be laughing too, all these buffoons that think he's only capable of defensive, conservative football will encounter a huge surprise next season. I've always felt that we needed a CM that can pull the strings from deep, delighted Jose agrees with that. They really won't see it coming next season. I can seriously imagine us scoring a lot of goals and playing attacking football the Mourinho way, occasionally dismantling opposition by a hatful of goals just like he did at Madrid in his second season there, and shutting these fools up; whilst we laugh our way to the PL title. Hopefully this imagination becomes a reality.
  15. http://www.marca.com/2014/06/15/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1402790674.html And the translated version: http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/6/15/5811016/jose-mourinho-ramires-diego-costa-thibaut-courtois-marca
  16. According to MARCA, Mou would possibly like Varane included in any possible Ramires deal (but he doesn't want to sell Ramires): Edit: Mourinho has basically ruled out any sort of move in an interview with MARCA anyway...:
  17. Mourinho on Cesc: So, contrary to the popular belief on here, what I can gather from this is that Mourinho has always been after a playmaker from deep. If it wasn't Cesc, it would've maybe been Rakitic or Kroos.
  18. If we sell Lukaku, which I'm hoping we won't, he'd be a great option for that 2nd choice striker spot, alongside someone like Remy.
  19. Yeah that's fair enough, plenty of better LBs out there and again I'm not saying we should get him over Luis or anything - the main thing I was trying to get across is that he isn't a liability defensively. PVA is better at going forward than he is, whilst he is defensively a lot better than Patrick. Merely stated that he would be a good signing IMO because he's a very versatile, great utility player - especially if we got shot of more midfielders. Wouldn't buy him as a starting LB though.
  20. Ah. Ik dachten niet dat jij Nederlands was... but yes, he started at LB and was moved to the CDM position but he wasn't moved because he was too slow... That's what I'm trying to get at to you. I watched about 20 Ajax (also support Ajax in Holland) games this year and about 15 Vitesse and Feyenoord games so yeah, I do watch the Eredivisie quite regularly.
  21. No he isn't "too slow" and that isn't the reason he plays CDM for Ajax. Stop making up stuff when you clearly don't know too well about it.His crossing ability aren't consistently that amazing either but he does have a decent foot on him to make those every now and then.
