  1. I'm not talking to you as a moderator, I'm talking to you as a fellow forum member, and honestly, yes it's okay for people to be disgruntled with Jose over the start of the season, we haven't done well at all, that's fully understandable, it's been a horrible start to the season and even Jose himself knows he's massively responsible for that, as are the players. There has been plenty of fair reasoning on both sides of the coin - bar a few extreme views here or there, there has definitely been a decent discussion going on in here. A convention suggests that everyone in here is a Jose hater, because they're expressing their views of discontent. I'm sorry, I don't agree with that whatsoever. People are well within their rights to not be happy with Jose and the team. Talk of him being fired is not the norm at all here, and they've been shut down comprehensively by plenty of people, with good, reasonable discussions and opinions. You're acting like Jose is the only person getting stick on here when that's not the case at all, hence why I brought up the Ivanovic example. Like I said, haven't seen you go over to that thread to defend him... I wonder why that is? There is no double standards from me at all. There's a massive difference between telling someone to stop thinking full stop, and telling one to stop thinking that just because some are critiquing Jose, they're automatically haters. You don't have to like a player or a manager by force. It doesn't make you more or less of a fan at all. Applies to everyone, even Jose. We've not been good enough at all and if you don't think Jose has a significant part to play in that then it's definitely best to agree to disagree.
  2. I haven't said anything personally but you need to stop thinking its a JM hater's convention just because there's been a bit of critique against Jose from others. I don't see you rushing to the Ivanovic thread saying the same.
  3. I don't know, the board have been very shrewd financially over recent years.
  4. The only thing I can think of is perhaps that the board are saving the money for next year. Maybe we'll get Pogba and Stones then.
  5. Player thread: http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/20605-michael-hector/

  7. Would've been a great signing. Shame.
  8. We don't lock topics, unless the player is signed. Please let the mods and admins do their jobs, we know what we're doing, thanks.
  9. If anything, it's Marina. Signings have gone downhill since she's been given a major role. Emenalo has made some very good signings for the club.
  10. Smalling moved from Fulham at 17/18 I believe. No chance.
  11. Bruma over Hector makes a lot more sense to me tbh. Scored a decent goal against Feyenoord as well last week. Tbh signing another CB doesn't make sense at all though.
  12. Feels like the board are trolling.
  13. Are people genuinely not allowed to critique anything Jose does or?
  14. He's not good enough to start at CFC. Who's he going to start over? Pedro? Oscar? Hazard? Willian? Even Boga and Musonda are far more talented. That's without stating Traore and Kenedy as well. All of these guys are better than Piazon.
  15. Guys please, the account is fake. Pogba doesn't have Instagram. There is still hope. .
  16. Why do we have to look outwards for a squad player though? If we're not going to buy a player that'll at least challenge the starting CBs then what's the point? Why did we loan out Omeruo, or Kalas who could've provided that squad depth? Why don't we just demote Ivanovic to 4th choice CB? Chalobah? It doesn't make much sense to me tbh. I don't think it's as black and white as saying Nkoulou and no Stones next summer or Djilo and Stones next summer either. We need to sign good players that can step in at any given time and ones that can actually challenge their team mates to a starting spot. Nkoulou has 1 year left, he'd be cheap. He comes in and directly threatens our starting CBs and would provide excellent cover alongside with Zouma. Long term wise - JT, Cahill and Ivanovic are all over 30. Signing Stones and maybe shifting someone like Ivanovic out next season whilst keeping Zouma and Nkoulou? Proper depth. So, this season we go with Ivanovic, Nkoulou, JT, Cahill, Zouma, Azpi, Baba. Next year we go with Stones, Zouma, Nkoulou, an older JT, an older Cahill, Azpi and Baba. Looks good to me.
  17. He's a very exciting prospect. Reminds me a lot of Henry. Way too pricey though.
  18. My problem is that there's surely better players out there. Someone mentioned N'Koulou for Marseille who has a year left in his contract...
