  1. A defender he's never seen play or trained with before? If anything, it would've been more than unfair on Traore or Kenedy who have clearly impressed Jose. Sorry, Jose isn't at fault here IMO.PS. Respect Terry a bit more please. About old and slow... People really throw players under the bus too easily. Yes he's old and slow (always has been) but that doesn't mean we should completely write him off.
  2. Does Remy not have a poaching ability himself?
  3. We have too much cover at AM. He should've gone out on loan because Jose won't even look at him. What've we got atm? Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Pedro, Kenedy, Traore... That's 6 players ahead of him already.
  4. This blind faith people have in Falcao... I just don't see it personally. Yeah, he scored, but that shouldn't mean he starts over Diego.
  5. Which solidifies my thoughts even more.
  6. I will reserve judgement until I've seen him play a few times tbh. I like his profile, whether he's good enough at this level? I suppose we'll find out.
  7. Still don't understand why he's just not been given a fair chance here. He's a talent. IMO he can at least be a valuable squad player here if he develops well enough. Going back a bit but Jack Cork for example, who Chalobah has a higher ceiling than IMO, would make a great squad player here. He's developed quite well as a player and that's allowed him to get to that level. Chalobah could do the same, he's just not being provided with an opportunity here. Here's hoping he does well at Napoli because if he does, the club surely have to give him a role in the squad. He's HG. He's club trained as well (for CL).
  8. Honestly, the more I think about it the more I think that the board have actually tied Jose's hands here. With the rumours of him giving the board exactly what we needed as a team way back in April, and then us trying to buy players at a last ditch attempt because results weren't going our way... It's quite disturbing. The quite random signing of Michael Hector done it for me. Would we have signed Pedro if we had a good start to the season? I actually don't think so, which is very worrying. Time will tell.
  9. I'm not talking to you as a moderator, I'm talking to you as a fellow forum member, and honestly, yes it's okay for people to be disgruntled with Jose over the start of the season, we haven't done well at all, that's fully understandable, it's been a horrible start to the season and even Jose himself knows he's massively responsible for that, as are the players. There has been plenty of fair reasoning on both sides of the coin - bar a few extreme views here or there, there has definitely been a decent discussion going on in here. A convention suggests that everyone in here is a Jose hater, because they're expressing their views of discontent. I'm sorry, I don't agree with that whatsoever. People are well within their rights to not be happy with Jose and the team. Talk of him being fired is not the norm at all here, and they've been shut down comprehensively by plenty of people, with good, reasonable discussions and opinions. You're acting like Jose is the only person getting stick on here when that's not the case at all, hence why I brought up the Ivanovic example. Like I said, haven't seen you go over to that thread to defend him... I wonder why that is? There is no double standards from me at all. There's a massive difference between telling someone to stop thinking full stop, and telling one to stop thinking that just because some are critiquing Jose, they're automatically haters. You don't have to like a player or a manager by force. It doesn't make you more or less of a fan at all. Applies to everyone, even Jose. We've not been good enough at all and if you don't think Jose has a significant part to play in that then it's definitely best to agree to disagree.
  10. I haven't said anything personally but you need to stop thinking its a JM hater's convention just because there's been a bit of critique against Jose from others. I don't see you rushing to the Ivanovic thread saying the same.
  11. I don't know, the board have been very shrewd financially over recent years.
  12. The only thing I can think of is perhaps that the board are saving the money for next year. Maybe we'll get Pogba and Stones then.

  15. Would've been a great signing. Shame.
  16. We don't lock topics, unless the player is signed. Please let the mods and admins do their jobs, we know what we're doing, thanks.
  17. If anything, it's Marina. Signings have gone downhill since she's been given a major role. Emenalo has made some very good signings for the club.
  18. Smalling moved from Fulham at 17/18 I believe. No chance.
  19. Bruma over Hector makes a lot more sense to me tbh. Scored a decent goal against Feyenoord as well last week. Tbh signing another CB doesn't make sense at all though.
  20. Feels like the board are trolling.
