He's nowhere near Giroud's level of link up play or hold up play, which is absolutely vital. It's the reason why Welbeck and Walcott don't start up front. Arsenal don't play on the counter very often, they play quite narrow with lots of interplay and a lot of their moves require the striker to have an astute touch. Lukaku needs space to run into. Arsenal don't play like that.
