I still think Emerson, Rudiger, Christensen and James are our best possible back four and last month barely any of them played. In my book we are playing with second unit defense for most of the season plus Kante injured all the time. So no surprise we conceded so many goals.

Also my reaction when I saw the post. Rudi is by far our best CB and worth 60-70m easily. 15 teams in the PL conceded less goals than us and people are acting like Zouma and Tomori are having great season. I agree Tomori can become great in the future.

Yes please, it's regular thing for clubs who play with one striker to have just one replacement. We operate like this for years. After all Giroud can't make it to the bench. Real have just two strikers and everyone speaks how little game time Luka Jovic gets.

I agree but are we really going to complain about referee after he awarded us with two penalties and two red cards for opponent? First penalty on Pulisic is not a foul for me and that second red card is very questionable tbh. Overall very bad game from us. Kepa had worst night of the season and all four defenders were really bad. We conceded four goals ffs which should not be acceptable and even allowed Ajax a couple of chances with 9 men. Attack wasn't much better since they didn't provide us anything upfront. Goals came from defenders and Jorginho. Abraham, Mount, Willian didn't do shit... Only James and Jorginho deserve praise after this game. Maybe Kovacic and CHO were solid but that's it.

RLC, Barkley and Kante are injured. That's why we didn't have a chance to rest Kovacic and Jorginho against United. Same for CB position. Christensen and Rudiger are out for a while. So no rotation there too. After all Guehi played two and Gilmour three games already so no doubt he would play much more than 18 minutes here by now.

Finally made a debut. Played 18 minutes in the German cup as CB. Ironically with all the injuries we have and youth integration he would play much more here.

But I also remember when Jorginho in Southampton and Kepa in Lille saved clear goals after Tomori's mistakes. Which is completely fine since he's young player.

He was in full training 9 days ago working with the ball. How much time he needs to go from fit to match fit I don't understand. Mourinho once said if player is fit he is match fit
