I think the reason why we missed on 'A, B, C' targets is because they didn't want to join us... I'm sure club did everything in their power to sign Romagnoli, Barella, Nainngolan, Lukaku, Sandro over the last couple of years.
First Grimaldo now him... But tbh Benfica has always been selling club. Release clause don't mean much imo. I'm sure they would sell him for 60m, Grimaldo for around 40m... Just like Valencia would sell Gaya for around 50m.
Best way to measure level of Manager is to see did and how much he overachieved with his teams. Benitez did it so many times. Valencia, Liverpool, Newcastle... That's something Guardiola never did. He always did expected or failed. For me Benitez is one of the best managers out there... He would make Arsenal much more solid.
Not sure Barca needs him. He's 31 in the summer and one year left on contract. I wonder how much he would cost? We could use him for a couple of years.
6 goals and 6 assists already. He averages goal or assist on every 91 minutes this season. Meanwhile Hazard has one goal and four assists for Madrid with only around 100 minutes less.
In the first half we had 5 great chances yesterday and three came from Kante and Kovacic x2. But yeah I would start Mount on Saturday anyway because of rotation. Btw Jorginho, Kovacic and Kante scored 8 goals this season and shared 4 assists. I don't think any midfield in top6 have better numbers. I'm happy we have so many options there, especially when Ruben is back
