Fofana had so many injuries that you would think that's impossible to get more. For me logically speaking he is less likely to get injured than any other player who never got injured.

We had third best defense in the league last season. Conceded less goals than City and just two more over Liverpool. All this with Fofana, James and Lavia out for most of the season.

Not sure what problem Maresca has with Veiga. He wanted to play CB and now it's perfect situation. Already starting for Portugal over some players our fans want here... Cucurella was almost loaned to United and now is untouchable. Hopefully something similar happens with Veiga.

Around 150m more expected from Jackson, Nkunku, Disasi maybe Badiashile... Overall we created a fantastic group of players and I don't expect us to be active a lot on market in the next years... Literally 5 year transfer ban wouldn't hurt us.

Two best teams on the planet last season PSG and Liverpool play without number 9 not only in unlikely potential emergency situations but all the time. So they sneak it not only without third but without second and even first in Liverpool's case. Ok, PSG have Ramos who is more of a backup. Real Madrid is also without a proper striker. I remember Palmer did it fairly well in 2:2 draw against Arsenal in 23/24 season. Also Neto is solid option especially if you surround him with fast and technical players like himself. Simons, Estevao, Gittens... Defenders would have huge problems to deal with all of them. Last season we just had Jackson who is known for his disciplinary issues and Nkunku was literally his first replacement who also has very bad injury record and is not a proper striker. Guiu was there with his own issues. But this season with Joao Pedro and Delap who both have great injury records it's dramatically less likely we would be in the need for a third option.

Our best player in every line of the team came from Brighton. Which is also thanks to him. But u are never going to say bravo or praise him for that. Just gonna focus on that potentially negative thing.
