I think when they say marquee signing they mean about price of the player. We are after another attacker and LB for sure. So if we buy Chilwell new winger will be someone like Corona or Benrahma for cheep. If we go for Havertz as marquee signing new LB will we cheap like Tagliafico or Telles.

Yes because of his flaws in the game but he is right. In the team like Dortmund Michy would score for fun. After all he already did and even average striker like Alcacer was amazing there. Looking at Havertz stats this season it is clear that he raised his game after changing position. Very slow start as AM. After that RW and now CF much, much better. 19/20 AM 21 games 3 goals 2 assists RW 10 games 5/5 CF 7 games 7/1 Ziyech AM and Kai RW is another great option to have. They can definitely change positions in the game in we sign him.

Every lineup for next season I saw people posting here even the one I did we always assume Frank will use 4-2-3-1 with Kovacic and Kante. But from what we saw for now (even at Derby) Frank prefers 4-3-3. When everyone is fit we go with Jorginho, Kante and Mount. Jorginho and Gilmour are only players capable of playing deeper in this system. Kovacic and RLC are best as box to box. Not sure what should we do with Kante? Maybe we should really try to sell him. Also with James taking Azpi's place and Jorginho being benched who is going to be our captain? Rudiger would be a best choice because of his leadership qualities and in that lineup he would be the only one with Kante longer than two years here.

I feel like Bayern and Real are only real competitors here. Bayern was about to splash cash on Sane but because of Havertz they may change plans and try to take him in January for just 20m (6 months left on contract). Real is always top option for players but I think Havertz may think now it is best to go somewhere else and than when he is established as a top player to go to Madrid. Like Ronaldo or Hazard. Rudiger and Werner may have huge impact here hopefully for us.

You are right. I think Olie can still leave. And it is likely probably. If we sign Havertz 100%. Abraham, Werner and Havertz can play CF so he would be in horrible situation. Even worse than this season when he was 3rd striker after Michy. With EURO2021 coming he would also want to leave. 6m salary and we can get 4m fee for almost 34yo so 10m saved would be good thing for the club.
