Kai, Werner and Hakim all have more assists this season than any Chelsea player. I think they are all more creative than what we have now. For next season it depends on setup. City and Liverpool both have 5 very offensive players but in different setup. Liverpool 3 strikers and 2 FBs. Mane, Firmino, Salah, Robertson and TAA. Man.City 3 strikers and 2 AMs. Sterling, Aguero, Mahrez, B.Silva, KDB. None of Pool midfielders do much offensively just like City full backs. With Kai, Timo, Hakim and Puli we need one more offensively oriented player to have same balance as them. I would go with LB. So this is 5. And we have Azpi as RB (defensively oriented FB) plus I would go with Kante and Kovacic as 2 MFs behind Kai. This is why when we play James (not good defensively) we go with Azpi as LB or 5 at the back. James-Alonso/Emerson I think we used just once this season because they are shit defensively.

Well... Come on United! Our only hope! Traore and Moutinho on the bench. Thanks Nuno.

Boring... We knew he was coming... I miss the days when we tracked flights for certain players

Lille is also getting Jonathan David. Another great player!

Bakayoko and Emerson for Theo swap. Fair deal.

Olivier Giroud 'only stayed at Chelsea after nearly quitting in January because club director Marina Granovskaia is friends with French striker's wife' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8560627/Olivier-Giroud-stayed-Chelsea-January-club-director-friends-Frenchmans-wife.html CL next season = THANK YOU MARINA!

If this is true then Alex Telles. 13 goals and 12 assists this season. But with Pulisic, Havertz, Werner and Ziyech upfront not sure we need offensive type? I think these boys will produce so much forward that I am fine with other midfielders and full backs being more defensively oriented.

Chelsea are back-in for Getafe's Marc Cucurella. The English club launched a first notice in March and now, according to latest news, the blues are willing to pay €30m for the 22-year-old left-back. {AS}
-
But are you ignoring Covid? Look at other teams. Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Spurs can't spend 30m it seems. European giants as well. Real and Bayern can't afford Havertz this summer but we can? Juve also just doing swaps. Last summer if we could, surely we would spend more than 100m apart from Kovacic. We lost our best player. So this money must have been kept for this summer. Kai, Timo and Hakim are 160m pounds. And we will still buy 3 or 4 more players. Our interest in Chilwell, Rice is well known. Even Atletico asistent confirmed our interest in Oblak. We are scouting Gimenez. Ofc we won't get them all if any but they are all expensive players. It's clear to me that we are in different situation to other clubs because of transfer ban. This transfer window doesn't look like typical Chelsea summer. Especially if you add Covid as big influence for everybody in business.

Not sure what is going on here. Just 64 minutes in 2020 in PL. Plus two FA cup games in January. In one he scored and apart Grosicki free kick it would have been two clean sheets as well. He played just 3 times in the last 23 games. It is weird considering how much we struggled with CBs this season. It's not like Tomori did any worse than other CBs we have. In fact, he was a part of that winning run in September-October. Around Christmas period he played in wins against Spurs and Arsenal away and got completely dropped after. Wenger once said that when you have young CB you play him and you know he is going to cost you sometimes but in the future you have a player. Rudiger, Christensen and Zouma are what they are, they won't get any better. Actually it would make much more sense if Frank forced Tomori this season to play like Mount every game. Especially considering the state of other CBs. After all Fikayo was Derby's POTY.

United to win tomorrow 2.40. Great value.

4th place XXI century: 2000/01 68 2001/02 71 2002/03 67 2003/04 60 2004/05 61 2005/06 67 2006/07 68 2007/08 76 2008/09 72 2009/10 70 2010/11 68 2011/12 69 2012/13 73 2013/14 79 2014/15 70 2015/16 66 2016/17 76 2017/18 75 2018/19 71 Apart from first two seasons in Roman era we would never get top4 with our amount of points this season. So we are lucky a bit.

Gallagher has all of this as well Ok not very tall but not short either - 182cm. Gilmour, Gallagher and Havertz. This midfield is going to dominate European footy in 3 or 4 years!
-
Apparently he was ill for last two games. Nobody gives a fuck it seems? I think he can be our x factor in the next 2 games.
-
So you are suggesting Hazard sale and transfer ban have nothing to do with our transfer window this summer? It's clear as day we are in better situation than all others because of this.
-
In normal situation I would say the same. But we had 100m loss last fiscal year. Plus Covid influence (at least 50m). But yeah even Everton or Aston Villa can go and spend 100m net in one transfer window. I expect three more players. Drop big money for CB and cheaper options for LB/GK. CB - Gimenez/Skriniar 70-90M LB - Telles/Tagliafico/Gosens 20-25m GK - Pope/Areola/Cakir 20-25m
-
Do you ever read other comments? You often post something that was already posted.
-
You always have plan B,C... They were linked with Chiesa as well. But not sure they have even 50m budget. Only if they sell first.
-
I see him as first backup for both LW and RW. And since Werner, Kai and Mount can all play wide I do not think we need another winger.
-
Retrospectively yes! But before the season no one could expect us to have more points than last season. 72 we had with Sarri. Transfer ban, losing best player (many called us one man team) plus Luiz and first striker Morata/Higuain. RLC one of the best players last season was out this season as well. Only way we get top4 this season was other teams underperform massively. And luckily this happened. Spurs were always about to finish above us just like UTD because they spent big money. About Werner... 15 goals? LOL this is Abraham level. Golden boot next season or nothing.
-
But if we draw and finish top4 with 64 points you will never forgive him that one point
