Oblak and Gimenez have same release clause. What is better? Oblak and cheaper CB option for 30m max like Ginter or Gabriel or splashing cash on Gimenez and buy cheap GK like Pope, Areola or Onana? What would improve us more?

What is funny is that Frank said it is height issue. For next season we are replacing Giroud 193cm or Abraham 191cm with Werner 180cm. Also Alonso is 188cm. Next LB will be who? For sure someone much shorter. Chilwell is 178cm, Tagliafico just 172cm. Telles 181cm... With two CBs we usually had 4 tall players on the pitch this season. Next season 2CBs and only Kai is tall with 189cm. So two tall players out just one in. I do not think this is the issue because I documented how almost all set piece goals we conceded are from shorter players than what we have but if Frank thinks this is the problem than idk what is he doing? But like I said City have just 2 or 3 tall players in the squad and it is not a issue.

Looks like this is very important to Frank. Probably the reason why we are not after Sancho. He seems to have some discipline issues.

2 year loan to Valencia or Sevilla. We would get around 10-15m fee. He will bounce back there no doubt. Look at Morata. Very solid season in Atletico. 16 goals and 4 assists in 2783 minutes. Second best goal scorer is Felix with 8. Atletico scored just 67 goals this season so Morata played part in 30% of their goals. 2783 minutes is around 31 games and they had 49 this season. So great stats for Alvaro. Summer 2022 Kepa still has 3 more years on contract so we sell him for good money or maybe even bring him back. This is best scenario for us I think.

Maybe he really wants to play like City? Pulisic Werner Willian/CHO Havertz Ziyech Kante It would open another place for Mount and RLC to play. Plus Ziyech can go on RW so Mount would start. Willian and CHO would still get plenty of game time. Assuming Jorgi and Ross are sold. Kovacic would play deeper I guess.

When James plays we either use Azpi as LB or we go with 3-4-3. We used James and Alonso/Emerson full back pairing just a couple of times this season because they are not good defensively. You can afford that when you are Liverpool. World class GK, CB and 3 midfielders who are all better in defense than in attacking part of the game.

I think Giroud wanted to leave so he was probably thinking a lot but Chelsea wanted to keep him and maybe Marina-Olie wife connection played major part in him staying. Like she convince them not because they are friends but because we wanted to keep him.

Winning culture in Chelsea has to continue. It is crazy how even last two seasons when we finished 5th and 3rd we still won a trophy. Fa cup with Conte and EL with Sarri. Lets do it again. And we also lost Carabao cup and Super Cup on penalties in the last 18 months.

I think Sarri would stay if no transfer ban. Pretty sure he even said this. So transfer ban gave us: Frank, Tammy, Mount, Gilmour, Tomori, James, and now we probably would not buying Kai, Timo, Hakim if we could buy last summer. We would get someone like Pepe for instance. So transfer ban has been amazing thing for Chelsea in every possibly aspect. We did not even suffer in terms of results at all!

Since Canada, USA and Mexico are all hosts I dont think they need to play qualifications.
