From Leverkusen fan: According to a German report, Havertz "renounced" part of his salary in order to make the deal happen. Apparently, in his Leverkusen contract there was a clause that saved him 10% of the signing fee when he moves. So he'd get 10% of the initial fee, then 10% of the add ons etc. However, he seems to have renounced on part of his share of the initial fee since Leverkusen and Chelsea struggled to reach an agreement there and instead accepted a higher share of the add ons as compensation. So he's not really renouncing money, he's rather accepting a higher risk to get his share of the add ons but still, he seems to be really committed. The same report also mentioned that Havertz is really impressed by Lampard and his vision for Chelsea.

Nothing special there. 3 losses against Belgium 2x and Croatia. Draw with solid Colombia team after 120 mins. England only won against two semi pro teams in group stage and Sweden (probably not in top20 teams in the world). Semi final is obvy great result but they would not have a chance against top teams like France, Brazil...

If he had any worth he would not be with national team. Last World Cup semi finals: Martinez, Southgate, Deschamps, Dalic. 4 coaches, zero quality, this is reality with national teams.

Players on loan in the league never play against their teams. Nothing to do with game time or agreement. UEFA have different rules tho for European comps. And in FA cup we allowed Mount and Tomori to play against us last season. But in league this is never the case.
