Gallagher is better.

I don't expect us to be good but due to opposition quality I still expect win just like we won CWC and against Palace while still being shit. It tells more about opponents than us. I know we beat Spurs 3 times but they looked horrid and we were nothing special. Our last very good game was probably Juventus 3 months go.

Saw also during the match people complaining why Sarr is playing WB. We did not play with wing backs yesterday. We played 4231 with Chris RB and Sarr LB. Pulisic AM. Havertz LW. All of them looked weird in those positions. Chris even admitted it after the game. I waited for a long time to see Havertz as AM in 4231 (last season early on with Lampard he played 5 games like that and did well) and now when finally TT is playing this formation and MM is not available he tossed him on the left side. Which ironically is also best Pulisic position who played in the middle. No idea what was Thomas thinking.

Probably our 3 best games this season. But even in these defenders delivered and break opponents. Kante, Rudiger and Silva scored against Spurs. Rudiger and Kante first 2 goals agasint LC and against Juve Chalobah and James. Even on our good day attack is useless.

Couldn't beat Plymouth and Palmeiras in 90 mins. Barely won against Al Hilal and Palace. Nothing positive.

I remember we had more possession in all these games. As far as I know, he got MOTM against Leeds. But even if what you are saying is true did we concede any goals because of him? Brighton set pieces both goals, go watch highlights from Leeds and WH games you will not find Jorginho responsibility in any goals expect that back pass for Mendy but again you are speaking about off the ball and that goal is 99% on Mendy. So where is the damage? Also it would suit him more to play 433 than this system. Only Rudiger, Mendy and Azpi played more minutes this season and last season if you count only TT games I am sure he is in top3. What Lampard did tells more about him than Jorginho as proven later. He wanted to sell Rudiger as well - now best CB. Sarri definitely did not do that because of Jorginho but because of other players who did not know how to play Sarriball. 4 named Italian players vs Silva, Rudiger, Kovacic and Kante. Dont see much difference in quality. If you look for what TT said about Jorginho you will find only praise. In fact, he tried to get him in PSG, just like Pep did in City.

If we are cherry picking I can help you. Liverpool last season and West Ham this season. Not counting teams in relegation battle and set pieces he has 2g (two mentioned games) and 1 assist (Arsenal) from the beginning of last season in the league.

There are only 2 players from day one that was clear will be big players for Chelsea. James and Gallagher. All others would put in lower level. Can be in Chelsea squad but not for highest level as starter to fight for title. What my opinion is controversial? Would you say same thing if he was playing for City? Systems can protect players liabilities. I know this is not his strength but like I said we dont suffer because of that so it is irrelevant to even mention it. Even if we concede a couple of goals every season only because of this it would still not be a problem. Jorginho being bad defensively is big myth. And I suppose you want to replace him with Rice player who could not touch the ball in EURO final because of Jorginho...
