And even in our title winning seasons, we haven't won there since 2013
-
Stop. Please. I know what you are trying to do, so I'm going to stop you there. They just beat City over two legs with players stepping up in the form of Son, Moura, Eriksen, and Alli. If Hazard is quite, there goes our entire game plan. It's been the case under Conte and Mourinho.

Chelsea banned for TWO transfer windows

Even with Giroud, Dave, Alonso, Emerson, Pedro, and Willian's crosses never pass the first man. Tammy would be useless here. That said, his overall game concerns me. Looks horrid on the ball and his technical ability is on par with Lukaku's. It's something you have or you don't. I would love to be proved wrong but nothing I've seen suggests Tammy would be better than Batshuayi. -
No idea, but they have end product in their midfield. Eriksen and Alli. The former in particular who should be in the team of the season. For a big bloke, RLC really has no shot on him.

People are over estimating Tammy and Mount too I'm afraid. -
Can't really call it luck. They have quality. We don't.
-
The fact we are still in the race is utterly hilarious

If Spurs draw and Arsenal+United lose tomorrow, I'd lose my shit

He takes their penalties and 90% of his goals from open play come from delivery to him. We need our strikers to offer more than just being a target man. How is his technical ability? If Villa get promoted, he needs to stay there another season.

Honestly believe we will finish 6th or 7th next season if it sticks AND Hazard leaves. -
I agree that should be the pairing if the transfer ban sticks. (even though we will all be clenching our arses when ever Zouma gets the ball under pressure) However, this team desperately needs quality and a leader at the back, and I find no better solution than Romagnoli.
-
Remember. Both City and Us needed full backs at the end of the 2017 season. City: Bought Walker, Mendy, and Danilo before August. Chelsea: Bought Zappacosta on deadline day. Mourinho may have brought a toxic attitude, but he isn't the reason why we are in this situation.
-
Let's be real here. Every opposition would target Zouma when we try and play out from the back. The same way they target Dave and Alonso. Both Zouma and Christensen aren't good enough for the standard we are looking for.
-
Sarri not playing two strikers when needing a goal is a rational criticism. One that I firmly stand behind.

Stuck in limbo with this. Everything seems pointless not knowing. -
You are honestly kidding yourself if you think this sad, bollockless team will get anything out of this. If anything, I see another Arsenal away approach from these 'footballers'. Lukaku and Rashford will take the absolute piss out of Azpilicueta and Christensen. No too worry, I'm sure we will see many "Up the Blues" posts from the players pretending like everything is Ok. Wankers.

What are you on about? My whole point is our right side looked meek because we lost CHO and Kante? Of course I can't say we would of won the game, however it would of given our right side more of a threat than Pedro recycling it back to the midfield every time he had the ball.
-
Not knowing the outcome of the transfer ban makes everything seem pointless almost. Stuck in limbo.
-
I disagree completely. He was taking players on and offered a direct style of play. It may have been ineffective, but it kept Burnley on their feet. It's no wonder Dave looks better with CHO vs Pedro and Willian. Pedro comes on, we lose all that direct attacking play. Instead, Pedro recycles it back to the midfield every time. This in turn makes our right side so utterly predictable and all Burnley have to focus on is marking Giroud and Hazard.
-
Losing Kante and CHO killed us. It really did.
-
You realise that's the wrong game?
-
We deserved everything we got. Burnley's 2nd was a result of Christensen ball watching and losing his runner. No doubt his dad next week will tell him he's good enough to be a Chelsea starter.
-
You're missing my point. I'm saying that it has been a common theme this season where we are on the front foot, but one individual error leads to the team completely being demoralised.
-
CHO took players on and offered directness. Pedro recycled the ball to the midfield every time. Simple to analyse why our right side looked toothless that second half.
-
Chelsea vs Leicester 0-1 (Pedro error) Bournemouth vs Chelsea 4-0 (Kovacic error) Man City vs Chelsea 6-0 (Alonso error) Chelsea vs Man Utd 0 - 2 (Alonso error) Chelsea vs Wolves 1-1 (Luiz error) Everton vs Chelsea 2-0 (Alonso error) Chelsea vs Burnley 2-2 (Christensen error) These games I've highlighted are games where we started off on the front foot, yet one individual error ruins our entire momentum. Notice who the culprits are and how we'd rate their overall performances this season. There is a concerning issue why our system continuously leads our players making individual mistakes. Mistakes that are so fucking school boy
