You are failing to see the irony. Many fans were skeptical of Sarri when he arrived because he wasn't known for rotating his teams. If we played our same starting XI during those 8 games, the moment we drop points I can say for 110% certainty, people would whine about him needing to rotate more. As if you lot would all of a sudden change your tune. Truth of the matter is, if we can't afford to fucking rotate against bottom sides, this problem lies deeper than the manager.
-
Wolves would eclipse us and we'd be fighting Leicester for 8th at best.
-
Not for me. If anything, we over achieved in the beginning of the season. Those results papered over the cracks of how easily we can get exposed, which teams are now figuring out. We are a 5th/6th place side with Hazard. Without him, we are genuinely 8th -11th.
-
I would too. RLC for Barkley as well. What I wouldn't do is put in Ampadu for Jorginho. James for Azpilicueta. DaSilva for Alonso. Mount for Kovacic. Abraham for Higuain. All this was mentioned from other members which is just asinine. Let's replace our XI with championship players and all of a sudden start pretending we will give that manager time.
-
Sarri or no Sarri. What we saw that first half is life after Hazard and with a transfer ban. Pretty fucking grim. Sure adding RLC and CHO will add a bit more bite in the third, but with the same dire fullbacks, no true leader in the team, no end product from the midfield and no urgency from our forwards, we are a poor side. Poch isn't going anywhere. He's tied down until 2023 and no way will Levy lets him leave to us. Those that are screaming for a manager to come in and play the youth, need to understand the time and patience that comes with it. And the fact we knew Sarri coming in, he would need time and the club would need time to transition, and we already have fans calling for his head 7 months in? So you aren't willing to give a manager time to change the philosophy of the club, but are willing to give a manger time to play youth? A more time consuming risk than the former?
-
What ever you say.
-
Bar the youth, you've described Sarri in a nutshell. And Poch likes developing youth, but at what cost? Time and Patience. Something obviously the majority of Chelsea fans don't have.
-
But he's never won anything?
-
So last season under Conte, when we lost 3-0 to Bournemouth. 4-1 to Watford. 3-0 to Newcastle and drawing against Huddersfield at home, that was Sarri's fault? Sorry. You're talking bollocks.

We have 8 games in 29 days. Are you suggesting Sarri should play the same starting XI every game? Hindsight is a funny thing. One of his biggest criticisms was his lack of rotation, and there is no doubt if he did what you suggested, the moment we drop points you'd complain he ran the players to the ground and should of rotated more. That's the thing. If we can't rotate against fucking Cardiff, sacking Sarri will do fuck all if there isn't a massive overhaul. Who do we even replace him with? I don't see what a new manager is going to do with these players. And that is another issue. You take Hazard out and we are genuinely a poor side. I agree Sarri isn't doing himself any favors benching Emerson, Ruben, and CHO. But we are in an ever worrying time where 70% of our players are simply just not good enough. That for me is the bigger issue at hand.

Pep Guardiola just came out with a profound statement on the matter: "I remember a long time ago, people said you cannot mix football and politics. That's not true. Human rights is everwhere." Does this twat know who his owners are?
-
Or he probably just watched YouTube Videos, reels, etc of all of Odoi's touches against Montenegro and Czech Republic instead of the entire match
-
Bit premature given Umtiti has been injured for a period of time. Umtiti, along with VVD, are the two best centre backs on the planet in my opinion.
-
Well that settles it then
-
Get rid of Costa and put Xavi. Mad he didn't include him. I'm also sure he only chose Pique over Puyol given he is best mates with the former.
-
Haha, as if. What mugs. Let's put in a cheeky bid for Salah while were at it.
-
Romagnoli > Rugani

CHO is a separate argument. One that I am firmly with the majority on but I still see the media are making it worse that what it is. In terms of rotation however, he's rotated much better than at Napoli. Instead of running his starting XI to the ground, only Kante and Azpilicueta have been over played. RLC being injured all the time isn't helping that either. I'm speaking only on the hypothetical that our transfer ban is lifted. His football is proven to work. We don't even have to spend ridiculous amounts to get Sarri's players. You yourself should know that.
-
Again with this 'his style hasn't won anything' argument. His style took a 5th place team in Italy with no budget, toe to toe with the monopoly that is Juventus. Breaking records at the same time. Did you forget we were one penalty away from winning the league cup? Did you forget we are also on course to make the Europa league final? Sorry, I just think it's very naive to suggest bleeding in our youth and loan players will deliver success. None of which, you can say with a straight face, improves us. We would soon fall to obscurity the way Arsenal had if we go that route. The club bent over backwards to appoint Sarri, and so far everything points to them backing him over the players. And rightly so.
-
You'd honestly rather bleed in our youth and loan players vs buying players tailor made for Sarri's style? And I disagree. I think Sarri has rotated his teams just fine.
-
James and Pasalic are only two players that imo can make it in this team. Replaces Zappacosta and Kovacic
-
Hope that means the board will put pressure on Sarri to play him. Now that CHO is heavily invested on.
-
If we improve on those players with players that best fit the system.
-
I've ruled out making top 4 in the league. Only way is Europa league.
-
Quite frankly I lost all hope given what Willian did to Conte and the club rejecting obscene offers for him.
