Torres was a player who strived on pace, power, and athleticism. He lost almost all of his pace through countless hamstring injuries and the meniscus tear in his right knee. After the world cup, it was evident he wasn't half the player anymore. Taking all of that into consideration, the fact we splashed 50 million on a player who didn't have tools to perform as good as he did, was a mockery.
