What a terrible weekend

I genuinely think that is what caused us to drop down after 2017, and what we are still struggling to this day. It was clear as day, even in our 2017 title win, that Alonso and Moses needed to be upgraded on. City got Walker, Danilo, and Mendy before August. We got Zappacosta on deadline day.

That back line needs to be permanent. Changes made delicately. The midfield however should change base on opposition.

Honestly still baffled from his game management today. From start to end, just so poor.

Least you have two players comfortable on the ball. AC and Zouma is honestly worse than Luiz + Cahill. I want Lampard to know who his best CB's are, and stick with them. This constant changing is what got Emery sacked.

I'd prefer the one where Tomori is undroppable vs Zouma.

FFS we are realistically not getting either in January. Lampard has made no effort so far to create a balanced back line. And all he needs to do is give those players a run together. This could ultimately be the reason we don't finish in the top 4.

Lampard essentially ruined a back line that already built some sort of understanding. He created unbalance by shoe horning Dave at LB just because he wears the arm band. He then dropped Tomori for god knows why, for Christensen because 'Morris rates him'. All at the same time, taking Zouma, who is very suspect positionally, to play on the other side. Something Rio Ferdinand even said he had a difficult time doing. That's what lost us the game, and it was bloody amateur from Lampard. I would fucking hope he learns from this calamity.

The fuck happened to him? Where is he?? Jesus it's as if he tore his ACL or something. He's been gone for ages for what looked like a seemingly unserious injury. We need him before Spurs and Arsenal.

I'd be surprised if even Prime Cech would look good with how unbalanced and disorganised our back line is.
