  1. Fighting relegation? He literally guarantees us 15+ goals. Even more when we aren't playing tedious recycle ball. Our hands our tied if we can't get the striker we want, which is looking likely. Get rid of Lukaku and we are furthering cementing our mid table status for the foreseeable future.
  2. I think we don't have much of a choice. If we want to be mid table again, we will have strikers like Jackson and Sesko leading the line. We won't be able to afford Osimhen or Toney's wages, nor would we even be their first choice. Least we can do is utilize Lukaku for the time being as he guarantees 15+ goals.
  3. Why should we sell Lukaku when this club desperately needs a striker?
  4. Why wait until May? We should be working on a move now if they feel Poch isn't right for the job. There is no way we are winning the FA Cup nor qualifying for a Europa league place. Do what Bayern are doing with Tuchel.
  5. I like Tuchel. I think his personality is his biggest flaw, but even at his best I found him to be a cup manager with his tactics. Then again, Klopp and Pep are rumored to leave the Prem soon, so that leaves a door wide open for change. I'd personally like Flick.
  6. Complied with UEFA/PL regulations. That's all we need to know.
  7. Finally we agree on something. Never thought Mikel was all that and to this day I found him to be a very average player, yet now since his podcast he’s getting Chelsea legend labels. It’s as if people are pretending to forget how frustrating he was. Side to side Mikel. Wasn’t great technically, limited passing range, offered next to nothing in creating chances, but was decent defensively. Ramires was more of a legend than Mikel.
  8. How are we going to lose this match? Being outplayed and outfought? Tactics? Conceding from a set piece after missing several chances?
  9. Rome wasn't built in a day. Blah, blah, blah. Pretty sure Rome wasn't being handled by an average architect.
  10. It's becoming clearer what their ambitions are. They don't know football. Never seen such naivety and ignorance from billionaires.
  11. Think a lot of our players would thrive in Rúben Amorim's set up. Of course this would make wide players like Madueke and Mudryk pointless, but I have almost given up on them entirely.
  12. MacAllister also isn't a DM, and yet he's played there and doesn't look out of place. He played all over in midfield for Liverpool and Klopp has managed him perfectly.
  13. Don’t blame him. Blame Poch for spearheading the squad around him and making him undroppable.
  14. He really hasn’t learned a thing from his time off of management. Still reactive. Still concedes matches. Still poor tactical discipline. I dread the rest of the season.
  15. Bloke admitted he was playing for penalties. Get him out.
  16. This match should cement there shouldn’t be any remaining vote of confidence in Poch. He’s not the man. Owbership also have to take a good hard look at themselves and reevaluate what the fuck they’re doing.
  17. Good for you. I’m thinking about doing the same. I can take defeats, but not like this, when we’ve spent billions and this is what it’s generated. Any rumor of signing a U23 year old I hope the fans genuinely protest.
  18. And yet it was still our starting XI against Liverpool’s C team + Academy all 120 mins. One WC player shouldn’t be the determining factor. Particularly when the manager set the team up for failure all extra time. Blame the players all you want but Poch concedes matches and manages in the moment. Haven’t won a big game all season.
