Of course Haaland would say that when we are virtually the only club interested.
You genuinely don’t think Bayern, United, PSG, Liverpool or hell, even City and the Spanish giants wouldn’t do everything possible to come up with the 75 million and wages to secure a generational talent?
So naive.
Am I missing something? How exactly are our chances good if we don’t get Haaland this summer? What’s stopping Bayern, PSG, Liverpool, Juventus, United, or any other club from going after Haaland at a marked down value next January/summer?
Whilst Rice certainly isn’t most of our 1st choice, he is premier league proven. So he can make an immediate impact.
Just weird how apparently both the club and Tuchel identify him as the CM priority.
Declan Rice rejected West Hams’ third contract offer. Player wants to be aware of any bids made for him. West Ham may consider a bid over 60 million

Both Billy and Bate would attribute a balanced midfield. One advancer and one sitter.
Based on attributes, Gilmour has qualities similar to Jorginho. I personally don’t think Gilmour is getting in the way. Different roles within the midfield.
It’s actually Kovacic in my opinion.
Our system has two roles in midfield. Advancer and sitter. Advancers are Kovacic and Kante and the sitters are Jorginho and Gilmour. Bate is a player that dribbles in transition similar to Kovacic that allows him in advanced positions. It’s no surprised we had so many holes in midfield under Lampard because either Kante (an advancer) was a lone DM and/or we had a pivot of two advancers (Kante + Kovacic). The Bayern game a prime example of how unbalanced it is.
Since Tuchel has been appointed, only City managed more points than us (7).
Our attackers should do better this time around. Add the fact neither Liverpool, United, or City are adding quality at ST, our competitors are standing still. (United won’t challenge anything with Ole).
