My biggest criticism of Tuchel so far is him having 9 months of management and he still can't suss out which attacking players compliment one another.

Not that I disagree with your point, (albeit we need a larger sample size to truly see if Lukaku can’t be effective for us in these kind of games) but I don’t think this was evident yesterday. The midfield and Tuchel were the primary issue. Havertz mind you is also a notorious slow starter.

Not entirely sure. The same wrong/poor decisions are made since his appointment. Not finding the attacking runner or making the wrong choice in the final third. This is constant. I don’t buy this lack of creativity when all the player needs to do is pick up his head. It’s as if this isn’t drilled into them in training after viewing tape. Not having pacey wingbacks that stay wide hurt us tremendously though.

You can see Mounts importance considering Rodri had a field day against us. Mount always presses the holding midfielder.

He can dribble in transition but that is it. Much like Kovacic and much like Kante, except these two are better suited in this system. He dribbles and without failure is unable to pick the open pass. I am failing to see how merely dribbling in transition alone = great performance. It's becoming evident he is only playing until Saul gets up to speed.

Only saving grace is that after the FA Cup final against Leicester, he didn't try that shit ever again. Hoping this is the same.
