Lot of reports suggesting we may sign both Sterling and de Ligt this week. The Athletic claiming the Sterling deal is done and we are apparently 10m away or so from meeting Juve's valuation on de Ligt.

For £15m I'd take a gamble. Evident we need another holding midfielder this season, unless we want to take our chances with Ampadu/Gilmour.

Selling Broja for 30m and then buying Richarlison for 70m is something I would expect from previous ownership. Hopefully both rumors are bollocks.

Refuse to believe any rumor until preseason. There is no way we go into next season with only Havertz and Werner as the strikers.

Seems like her and Buck are falling on the sword for the Lukaku deal.

A. He offers the least risk out of any other option. (Nkunku, Gnabry, Dembele, Raphinha etc). B. This "He only does well because City create a lot of chances" narrative immediately loses its strength when you consider we are 3rd/4th in chances created and big chances created. C. It's better to assess him for England vs City as England play a similar way than we do. Sterling always impresses for Southgate and they don't even play a progressive system considering they are always off the ball.
