Still think we will get Raphinha.
Barcelona's priorities right now are keeping Dembele, registering their free signings + Lewa. They can have Kounde too.
Sterling - Done deal but we want Ake included.
De Ligt - Wants to leave but Juve have set a high valuation
Skriniar - Same as above
Raphinha - Done deal but player really wants a Barcelona
Kounde - Seems we have backed off or we have submitted a bid.
A circus indeed but at least we will know more in the coming hours.
Our midfield still very frail for a back 4 if we want to compete for the league.
A top quality DM was needed this window, although we could make do with Ampadu.
Did you read the article? It said we'd be going for de Ligt, Kounde, and Ake.
Kounde and Ake can provide us options at CB at full/wing backs. De Ligt would be the Rudiger replacement.
We'll see. At this point simply securing a signing will be a surprise.
Chelsea and Leeds have reached full agreement for Raphinha! Official bid accepted around £60/65m [add ons included]. Main part of amount to be paid immediately. It’s done between clubs. 🚨🔵 #CFC

He has no other option unless he stays at Leeds. Arsenal can't afford him and Barcelona are in the shitter.
Tie him to a long term deal too so Barcelona aren't sniffing around later.
I don't expect it right away but I wouldn't be surprised to see Tuchel transition to it.
There is virtually no way Sterling, Raphinha, and Mount are not on the pitch together for the majority of our fixtures.
No one is asking Mount to be our #6. Having Sterling and Raphinha in attack would put Mount back to his natural position as the advanced midfielder in a midfield 3.
This would allow Chalobah + Colwill to rotate with Silva, not to mention we will have TWO deadly flanks with James + Raphinha and Chilwell + Sterling.
Mendy
James De Ligt Silva Chilwell
Jorginho Kovacic
Mount
Raphinha Sterling

Honestly it's become rather pathetic and tedious how one day it looks as if we are close to securing a signing, when only the next day we see reports that completely contradict the initial one and that we haven't even fucking approached the player yet.
Fully expecting tomorrow there to be reports that we never actually made a bid for Sterling yet.
