  1. I have listed my upgrades for ages. Jorginho has often been a disaster over the past year or so. Maybe Potter has some way to better utilise him, and if so, he truly is a genius.
  2. Drogba is being a bellend. Didier Drogba slams old club Chelsea for "lacking class" after Todd Boehly's takeover https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/Chelsea-boehly-drogba-abramovich-owner-28245916 Bohely has said goodbye to several Chelsea employees since the takeover was completed, as he looks to leave his mark on Stamford Bridge. Among those to be sacked was successful manager Thomas Tuchel, who was succeeded by Graham Potter last month. As quoted by beIN Sports, Drogba told Canal+: "I knew this club with a certain class during the Abramovich era, but today I find it lacking. It’s very hard for me to see how they got rid of certain people, for example the physiotherapists, who were there for a very long time. They should go back to the principles and values they had." Drogba's comments are questionable, considering Abramovich's alleged links with an authoritarian regime that's pursuing a destructive war. Abramovich also had a reputation for sacking coaches with ease, making 14 managerial changes during his ownership. snip Was it 'classy' Didier, when you did this? Chelsea stars refuse to give physio Eva Carneiro a lift at training https://www.sportskeeda.com/football/video-Chelsea-stars-refuse-give-physio-eva-carneiro-lift-training Chelsea’s stars were in no mood to give their physio Eva Carneiro a lift when they got hold of a transport vehicle at the training ground. With Diego Costa at the wheel, accompanied by Didier Drogba, Felipe Luis, Petr Cech, and Thibaut Courtois, there was nobody willing to be a gentleman and get off to allow Carneiro to go along instead. Sources say that although Costa wanted to stop to allow her to get on, Drogba was adamant that they leave her behind. Eva Carneiro settles case with Chelsea and Mourinho https://www.eastlondonlines.co.uk/2016/06/eva-carneiro-settles-case-with-Chelsea-and-mourinho/ Carneiro quit after a dispute with Mourinho, who publicly criticised her for treating injured forward Eden Hazard at a Premier League game in August last year. He allegedly called her filha da puta, Portuguese for daughter of a whore, as her decision left the team reduced to nine men temporarily. Chelsea said: “We wish to place on record that in running onto the pitch Dr Carneiro was following both the rules of the game and fulfilling her responsibility to the players as a doctor, putting their safety first.” Carneiro’s legal team on June 6 told the tribunal that she regularly had to put up with sexually explicit comments from colleagues. Documents also alleged that Mourinho after the Swansea match had suggested Carneiro should work with the ladies’ team. Chelsea had said that the Gibraltar-born doctor was preoccupied with building her own profile and secretly briefed against the club to the media. They also claimed that Mourinho, now manager of Manchester United, had said filho da puta, meaning son of a bitch, which had “no sexist connotation”. Carneiro said: “My priority has always been the health and safety of the players and fulfilling my duty of care as a doctor. In running onto the pitch to treat a player, who requested medical attention, I was following the rules of the game and fulfilling my medical responsibilities.”
  3. Why? So we can always see how it is to be overrun in MF and/or play 90% square or backward passes and/or slow the pace down to a crawl?
  4. RB options instead of Azpi Ben Chilwell Conor Gallagher Ruben Loftus-Cheek Carney Chukwuemeka Christian Pulisic recall Dujon Sterling
  5. actually, not in a massive way at all AMF/CMF Jacob Ramsey (has pace but is more of a CMF atm) Wingers Leon Bailey (pacey but very erratic) Philippe Coutinho Emiliano Buendía Ollie Watkins (pacey CF) Danny Ings

  7. I am so not counting on signing any of those 3 to buy all three would cost around £350m or so, maybe more
  8. these are the ones we deffo would have extremely good shots at pulling these two are the main ones I would go for, as both can play CMF and DMF, box to box Moisés Caicedo (will be the most expensive of this lot, but is also the closest to Kante on here) Kouadio Koné (Mönchengladbach sporting director said they would sell for right price) https://bulinews.com/news/14514/gladbach-boss-gives-update-contract-extensions-admits-kone-leave-some-point Roméo Lavia (only if Citeh make a deal with us, as they have £40m buyback) Enzo Fernández (only if they come way down from his insane €120 release clause, which is just silly high) Luka Sucic Alexis Mac Allister Yunus Musah
  9. 2022-23 English Premier League Fulham AFC Bournemouth http://www.mysports.to/sports/2022/premier-league-fulham-vs-afc-bournemouth-s2/ https://livestreams.totalsportek.com/game/fulham-vs-afc-bournemouth/2939/
  10. would take everyone of these before him Jude Bellingham Frenkie de Jong Moisés Caicedo Nicolò Barella Kouadio Koné Roméo Lavia Mikel Merino Yves Bissouma (IF Spuds would sell) Enzo Fernández Luka Sucic Alexis Mac Allister Yunus Musah
  11. He is a decent player, but certainly nowhere near a player I would put in my top 5 CMF targets
  12. shoot me now Jorginho prioritising Chelsea stay https://thehardtackle.com/reactions/jorginho-prioritising-Chelsea-stay/ Jorginho has every desire to continue his career at Chelsea, according to his agent, amid links with Barcelona. Jorginho was one of those signings that instantly elevated the quality of the Chelsea squad. The Blues had to dig deep to compete for the Italian international a few years ago and have Maurizio Sarri to thank for signing him ahead of Manchester City. While Sarri did not last long at Stamford Bridge, Jorginho has continuously upgraded his game each season to become one of Chelsea’s essential stars. He is their current midfield lynchpin, and his influence continues to grow. Amid Chelsea’s uncertainties at the end of last season, they put a few essential ideas on the back burner. The club saw key players depart when their contracts expired, as they could not extend their deals. It was already too late when they came into the position to do so. snip
  13. Romelu Lukaku's physical decline from Adonis to having muscles as fragile as butter has stunned Inter Milan's coaches... his struggles prove the Chelsea flop only plays well under Antonio Conte and 36-year-old Edin Dzeko is a surer bet in front of goal https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11318511/Romelu-Lukakus-physical-decline-stunned-Inter-Milan.html

  15. Simakan as a RB/CB would get plenty of minutes, and more when Thiago retires/leaves (granted that could be two more years after thus season) and Joakim Mæhle splits time as well, he is not always the starter now. Mæhle is not like my by now multi year-long whingeing over failing on Theo and Hakimi, lololol
  16. We are fucking cursed, and ffs, now that failute to buy Joakim Mæhle is massive. Again, I fucking warned on this. Cannot believe we are now reliant on Azpi yet again. JFC 🤬 Mohamed Simakan also has looked really good at RB for RB Leipzig as well, and would not just be a CB only option. 1.87m, pacey, strong, more than a decent passer, I think he would have been a damn proper purchase.
