not at all sure about the validity here (likely bullshit I am guessing) but anyways---------: Chelsea agree British record £115m deal with Benfica for Enzo Fernandez https://www.90min.com/posts/Chelsea-agree-british-record-115m-deal-with-benfica-for-enzo-fernandez Chelsea have agreed a British record deal worth £115m with Benfica for Enzo Fernandez, sources have confimed to 90min. Fernandez has been one of Chelsea's top transfer priorities this January, but they have been frustrated in their efforts to sign the World Cup winner to date. 90min revealed last week that Benfica were expecting Chelsea to make a renewed bid, after talks stalled earlier in the window, and the Blues did return to the negotiating table over the weekend. There was belief early on Monday that progress towards a deal was being made, with co-owner Behdad Eghbali and transfer director Paul Winstanley - who both played significant roles in landing Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk - leading the charge. And those talks have led to an agreement, 90min understands, with Chelsea agreeing to pay more than Fernandez's £105m release clause in order for Benfica to accept a payment in instalments. The deal now just needs to be rubber stamped and signed off by Rui Costa, who has publicly stated a number of times that 22-year-old Fernandez would not be leaving Benfica unless it was on the Portuguese giants' terms. The transfer could end up costing Chelsea a British record fee of £115m once all payments have been received by Benfica, eclipsing the £100m Manchester City paid Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in the summer of 2021. Personal terms have long been agreed with Fernandez, who missed training with Benfica on Monday, and there's plenty of time for the deal to be finalised before the winter transfer window slams shut on Tuesday night. The breakthrough in negotiations could also impact potential outgoings at Chelsea, with Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek among the players who could now be moved on by the club's hierarchy amid a wave of Premier League interest.

well, 120m euros is likely around (this is cray) one tenth of one per cent of the total wealth backing Chelsea between all parties

not really these are literally the only 4 wingers/CFs they have and one is often injured, and one is a very young CF player (their only true CF) Neymar Lionel Messi Kylian Mbappé Hugo Ekitiké they also have no Sr team AMF (they do have 18yo Ismaël Gharbi, who almost never plays)

very interested to see what the lad can do!

I know people are sick of me pimping him, BUT I would rather have Manu Kone than Caicedo hell, I might, maybe, maybe prefer Mac Allister over Caicedo tbh zero chance we can pull both Bellingham and Enzo Nicolò Barella for sure over Caicedo, but he will likely cost more than Caicedo and has to convinced to leave Italy (hard to do) Matheus Nunes? (probably not, too similar and he may lack a certain toughness, not sure, but he is super skilled, no doubt. another thing is he is NOT a young young player, he is soon 25yo (before next season), so it is not like he has 3 to 4 years to slowly get up to WC initial level) Roméo Lavia? (he really intrigues me) a healthy Kante is GREAT, if we renew him, BUT I so worry he will not be fit and ready to go a lot the player getting Enzo automatically takes off my target board is Martín Zubimendi as we probably do not need more deep holding MFers that said not sure IF Enzo and Bruno Guimarães would work together, but holy shit, if they did, that is an insanely creative deep MF (I know that pairing is likely a pipe dream anyway) Maxence Caqueret, well not sure, is he really a Chels level player? I have watched him, and he IS better than I recall, but still not sure at all, which worries me (when I do not get an instant gut feeling) then there is the ever-present Declan Rice thingy (Enzo and him may work well or Rice may be a drag, its not certain) finally we MUST (going out hard on a limb here) in summer 2024 buy the best 16yo DMF I have ever seen (not joking, Bellingham is the only other youth non AMF MFer I have seen with his potential) Warren Zaïre-Emery I know, good luck with this pipe dream, but still........................ he has at least the potential to be a Bellingham level MF player

only £5m short of my SOLD price (I said £50m and bye-bye Conor)

never count out Real and Barca IF PSG do buy Osimhen, we should be all over Hugo Ekitiké to switch out

lol, the Ginger Mourinho rides again
-
I have big hopes for this lad! super excited
-
£125m to £135m it will take I fear he is one of the Four Horses of the winter 2022 to summer 2024 Apocalypse Bellingham Enzo Gvardiol Osimhen only bigger players out there not resolved for more than 2 or so years are Mbappe Håland below those 6 is the last of the 'for sure available' who is close to £100m level Rafael Leão then a notch down again Dušan Vlahović after those 8 you drop down into pure speculation, and pure hope of ripping away a player from Barca or Real (basically impossible) or PSG or Bayern or Citeh (only clubs who can do that are Real and Barca)

they must have rendering of a new stadium as well!! along with Enzo and a few other things (combine those others into a big bag or two) the stadium is a HUGE issue for me Worse than that Until COVID-19 (this has perhaps put a kink or two into some clubs, as this list was from a post I did here on March 29, 2020, so a wee bit changed now, but not much at the end of the day, eventually) We were on track to be the only top 32 European club with no new or large, renovated stadium within 2 to 3 or so years I comment on each this list was in order per player total value, not in terms of quality of club ( the values have changed in the past 3 years, but you get the general idea) 1 Manchester City modern, giant stadium 2 Liverpool FC adding even more new expansions 3 Real Madrid soon, along with Barca, will have the biggest football only brand new billion euro renovated stadium, I have documented both multiple times 4 FC Barcelona see Real Madrid, just they are delayed now a bit 5 Paris Saint-Germain massive new renovation part of a billion euro overall upgrade of all their physical plant (or now may leave and build a monster from scratch) 6 Bayern Munich modern, giant stadium 7 Atlético Madrid recently opened monster new stadium 8 Tottenham Hotspur recently opened monster new stadium 9 Chelsea FC fucked 10 Manchester United panning huge renovation and expansion of OT 11 Juventus FC recently opened monster new stadium 12 Arsenal FC massive renovation planned for the Emirates 13 Borussia Dortmund more renovations planned, already is a HUGE stadium 14 Inter Milan brand new huge stadium planned to start soon, along with AC Milan 15 SSC Napoli brand new stadium to be soon built finally, they had THE WORST stadium (despite the atmospherics and intimidation factor) on this list, it was a true shithole 16 RB Leipzig modern, large newer stadium 17 Valencia CF brand new stadium finally will be finished in a couple years 18 Everton FC brand new stadium to open soon 19 Leicester City modern stadium, planned expansion to well over 40,000 with far more luxe boxes 20 Olympique Lyon giant new stadium built several years back 21 Bayer 04 Leverkusen soon a large renovation/expansion of BayArena 22 Ajax Amsterdam renovation already coming 23 AS Roma brand new stadium, Stadio Della Roma, soon started 24 AC Milan see Inter (I understand the money situ, but I still find it insane these two monster clubs will still share a pitch) 25 SS Lazio giant new stadium, Stadio delle Aquile soon built 26 SL Benfica renovated huge stadium 27 Sevilla FC complete renovation and massive expansion (entire new third tier and massive luxe boxes) soon starts 28 FC Porto renovated huge stadium 29 Olympique Marseille recently renovated and another planned expansion coming 30 FC Schalke 04 modern, huge stadium, and total renovation/expansion planned 31 Villarreal CF brand new stadium, Estadio de la Cerámica, being built 32 Hertha BSC renovated Olympiastadion a couple years back, and eventually they will very likely move to a new giant one other notable clubs Sporting CP large, modern stadium, renovation coming once their financials are sorted Real Sociedad New Anoeta opened in 2019 Wolverhampton Wanderers massive new ground up renovation expansion soon started West Ham United not ideal but they do have a huge stadium, a new one, with tonnes of luxe boxes Borussia Mönchengladbach modern stadium, expansion/renovation on the books soon ACF Fiorentina Nuovo Stadio Fiorentina, over 40,000 cap, soon started Real Betis Balompié recently renovated and increased to 61,000 capacity Athletic Bilbao new modern, 52K cap stadium recently built VfL Wolfsburg modern large stadium, with renovations coming Eintracht Frankfurt massive expansion to over 60,000 soon started

hate to say it, but that is when

if we had not signed him to that insane wage of £295K PW for FOUR years, we so could have dumped him off NOW to Inter of all the crazy bad 5 summer 2022 deals, KK at £95 fucking million total (W T F !) is THE WORST by far IMHO, as Wesley Fofana still (even though I have some real doubts due to what looks like a possible permanent loss of pace, at least so far) can come good in a huge way (I SO hope he does!!!!) I still wish we had just signed Simakan, before he renewed, for 50m or so less, and less on salary too, OR, even better, signed my REAL wish at RCB, Skriniar (too late now, ffs) CuCu was just a £30m or so overpay, he is not a disaster, if we had paid £30-32m or so, not much more than a peep from me, and he is not on cray money, Auba the wuthless is soon gone and didn't cost THAT much, and Sterling still can deffo help (and damn well better!!)
