Tottenham target Dejan Kulusevski confirms he's a Chelsea fan (19yo 1.86m left-footed Swedish RWer playing for Parma on loan from Atalanta) https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/11/28/tottenham-target-dejan-kulusevski-confirms-hes-a-chelsea-fan/ Dejan Kulusevski wasn't a household name heading into the season, but he's making himself a wanted man at Parma. The Swedish talent joined Atalanta from Brommapojkarna in 2016, with the Italian side seeing him as one for the future being sending him on loan to Parma. Kulusevski has been superb this season, hitting three goals and five assists in 13 Serie A games, impressing as a creative force for Parma. Capable of playing out wide or centrally, Kulusevski is now a wanted man, and Atalanta stand to make a huge profit on the 19-year-old star. Tuttosport now claim that Tottenham and Manchester United are keen to sign Kulusevski, though Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus are also in the race with Atalanta demanding €45million (£38.5million). Now, Kulusevski has been speaking to Fotbollskanalen back in Sweden, and after admitting that he supports Hammarby in Sweden, he claimed that he's a Chelsea fan outside of his home country. That shouldn't be a barrier to a move to rivals Tottenham, but it does pose the question of whether Chelsea should be in the mix for Kulusevski's signature. Frank Lampard does have Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Willian and Pedro, who can all play in similar areas, but Kulusevski offers a unique skillset compared to those players. Kulusevski is big, strong and athletic as well as technically gifted, whilst he offers great balance as a left-footer, meaning he would bring something different to the Chelsea side in more ways than one. The Blues should be looking at Kulusevski for when their transfer ban is lifted, and take on Tottenham for his signature having emerged as one of the top young talents in Europe – and supporting Chelsea along the way. snip fuck Hammarby! (one of our (AIK) two arch enemies) lololol

Massive change in China next year only 1 foreign player on the field allowed and only 2 on the roster, zero over 30 years of age and also a really low salary cap so Talisca maybe coming back to Europe he is still only 25, and I would hope we are scouting him a bit he is ambipedal with his left foot a wee bit stronger, 1.90m, and pacey in last 2 and a half years (around 9600 minutes) he has 70 goals and 23 assists, and a lot of that was in European leagues and the CL and EL

I always get wary of players when they go all pissy with their attitude and behaviour and discipline and Sancho is headed down that route just like the last superstar there, Ousame Dembele (who IF I knew he was going to act like Pulisic in terms of young stars who push and drive themselves and don't go all demanding then I would say BUY BUY BUY as he has insane talent (more than Sancho IMHO) BUT, alas, Dembele looks, atm, to not be growing up enough. I think Barca has become a shit club for discipline, at least under the shit manager they have (I detest Valverde) Leon Bailey at Bayer Leverkusen is the same, just not nearly as good a player as Sancho or Dembele

Chelsea face a landmark decision over this 31.5m-rated man’s future – opinion https://90maat.com/chelsea-face-a-landmark-decision-over-this-31-5m-rated-mans-future-opinion/ Ever since Willian stated there was “no chance” he would have remained at Chelsea had Antonio Conte stayed, his future in London has looked slightly uneasy. He was using incredibly sparingly under the feisty Italian and only slightly more often during Maurizio Sarri’s tenure. But since Frank Lampard took charge, with the Brazilian fresh from his victory in the 2019 Copa America, Willian has appeared integral to everything the manager has tried to achieve. But with his contract running out this summer and suitors circling, should Lampard convince him to stay or let him go to make way for others? The winger has made 12 appearances, nine of which have been starts, in the Premier League this term, scoring two and assisting three. But beyond his importance to the team from a purely statistical standpoint, Willian at 31-years-old is massively influential to the growth of the plethora of young talent Lampard is bringing through. The Brazilian will likely be acting as a mentor to players such as Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic after they committed to Chelsea and look to settle into life at the top of the Premier League. Role models don’t come much better than Willian for the pair of young wingers to look up too. He works tirelessly defending from the front, as proven by his 20 tackles, ten interceptions and nine blocked shots this term. Relative to last season the influence of his defensive contribution has skyrocketed, without sacrificing his attacking role after improving his number of goals and assists per match. Averaging almost ten crosses per 90 minutes will no doubt be aiding Tammy Abraham, who has 10 Premier League goals this season. For both his technical abilities, while also improving the developing players around him, Lampard should do everything within his power to ensure Willian remains at Stamford Bridge, though that might be a tall order with interest from Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo (via the Daily Star). Sarri’s Juventus have also formerly seemed interested in the 31-year-old who may feel now is his last chance to ensure a move to one of Europe’s elite. Especially considering the fact he is available on a free, despite holding a valuation of £31.5m (Transfrmarkt), and could match Aaron Ramsey in demanding enormous wages. If the West London outfit refuse to break their rule of offering extended contracts to players over the age of 30, they could risk losing the Brazilian international; this is a potential departure that has the makings of a milestone moment in Chelsea’s transfer policy in the modern era. Barcelona is a dream move for almost every player, but it is worth considering how compatriot Phillipe Coutinho’s has struggled at the Camp Nou after leaving the Premier League. After the ex-Liverpool player made his exit Antione Greiezmann stepped in and has not hit the same level of performance he did for Athletico Madrid. Every player would back themselves to make the starting eleven, but Willian should tread carefully before committing elsewhere. snip

Chelsea risk losing this £10.8m-rated man if Lampard cannot utilise his talent – opinion Opinion| 28 November, 2019 https://90maat.com/chelsea-risk-losing-this-10-8m-rated-man-if-lampard-cannot-utilise-his-talent-opinion/ Ever since switching Arsenal for Chelsea Olivier Giroud has not been afforded the opportunities he might have wished for when arriving at Stamford Bridge. When deployed as a target man, he is a handful for defenders though sadly for him neither of his last two managers have had any interest in playing a forward in that mould. So far this season the frontman has made just one Premier League start, with a further three appearances off the bench. Unsurprisingly such scant playtime has failed to produce either a goal or an assist. Though you only need to take one look at his goal-scoring record for France to realise there is still a phenomenal player in the 33-year-old, who is not being used to his full potential. Across his last 14 competitive international fixtures, the FIFA World Cup winner has seven goals to his name. Not only are the goals important, but his link play in the centre of Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann is vital to the way Didier Deschamps attacks. The French manager has praised his strikers’ 39 goals in 97 international games, but also warned him about the dangers of being frozen out at Chelsea. Here is the dilemma Giroud faces, swallow his pride and join a side further down the table, either permanently or on loan, or face an uphill struggle for substitute minutes at Chelsea. When put like this the decision appears relatively obvious, and it is likely there would be no shortage of Premier League suitors who are currently struggling to score. snip

Once again, this £27m-rated Chelsea and England star is on borrowed time – opinion https://90maat.com/once-again-this-27m-rated-chelsea-and-england-star-is-on-borrowed-time-opinion/ Frank Lampard has described Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley as “showing a lack of professionalism” after he was pictured shirtless in a nightclub while struggling with an ankle injury. The incident occurred during the international break, and his club manager said he must “show his reactions on the pitch”. Former Everton midfielder Barkley has made five starts in the Premier League this season but is yet to register a goal or an assist. His club form mirrors his displays for the Three Lions in the Nations League where he also did not contribute to any goals. However, in a European Championship Qualifying campaign, England dominated he has found the back of the net four times in four matches. Assessing his contribution in the Premier League so far this term it is easy to see why Lampard has favoured selecting, Matteo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Jorginho. Barkley is averaging 32 passes per match, while Jorginho is averaging well over double that figure and creating four times the number of big chances with his passing. Defensively, both Jorginho and Kovacic have a significantly improved tackle success rate, the pair have an average of 69 and 67 per cent respectively, while Barkley’s is 29 per cent. The Englishman’s interceptions are also way down on the pair of players he is competing against, he has three, compared to Kovacic’s nine and Jorginho’s 23. Though the England international cannot be accused of giving up on the cause defensively and had put his body on the line seven times to block shots. snip

Rennes place '£51m price tag' on 17-year-old midfielder Eduardo Camavinga amid Barcelona and Manchester United interest Eduardo Camavinga has shone both domestically and in Europe for Rennes He has attracted heavy interest from Barcelona and Manchester United recently Rennes are playing hardball by slapping a hefty £51million price tag on teenager https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7735061/Rennes-place-51m-price-tag-Eduardo-Camavinga-amid-Barcelona-Manchester-United-interest.html Rennes have moved quickly to deter both Barcelona and Manchester United by slapping a hefty £51million price tag on Eduardo Camavinga. The 17-year-old midfielder has shone for Rennes this season in both Ligue 1 and the Europa League, and he has since attracted heavy interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs. And according to French publication L'Equipe, the Ligue 1 outfit have put a £51m price tag on the Rennes starlet. Camavinga has already played a total of 16 matches for Rennes this season across all competitions. While Rennes know it will be extremely difficult to hold on to their extremely talented teenager, they are hoping to lure Barcelona and United into paying big money for his services. The 17-year-old, who is gearing up for Rennes' Europa League clash at Celtic on Thursday, currently has a contract at the Ligue 1 club until the summer of 2022. snip

Tomori is 5 cms taller than Ake, so there is that, lol. Håland (the correct spelling, IF you have a Nordic keyboard, lol) is very intriguing, yes, but he is like Camavinga, a super young talent, potentially world class, but I have seen very few links to either from us. I would LOVE to sign them both. Juventus and Manchester United among 20 clubs watching Erling Braut Haaland Salzburg open to selling Norwegian striker in summer Club hope market value will be €60m after his season https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/01/juventus-and-manchester-united-among-20-clubs-watching-erling-braut-haaland Manchester United and Juventus head a queue of more than 20 clubs monitoring the progress of Erling Braut Haaland, with Red Bull Salzburg open to selling him in the summer. The Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, was keen to sign Haaland from Molde in the summer of 2018 and was ready to offer €6m but the teenager was reluctant to join a side where he would sit on the bench or be loaned out. United have been aware of Haaland’s ability for a long time, with Ole Gunnar Solskjær and the player working together for two seasons at Molde in 2017 and 2018. United have scouted the 19-year-old on several occasions but they and Juve will face competition from, among others, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, all of whom have scouted him recently. In total more than 20 clubs have watched the young Norwegian. Haaland joined Salzburg from Molde in January and has scored a remarkable 23 goals in 20 appearances for the Austrian side. This season he has 22 goals in 15 games, including six in the Champions League, making him the top scorer in the competition, one ahead of Robert Lewandowski. His value has increased with each goal this season and stands at around €40m (£34.5m). Salzburg bought him for around €9m in January but the club expect that they will be able to sell him for more than €60m in the summer. They are hoping that he will have a season similar to that of Luka Jovic with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018-19, when the Serb scored 27 goals in 48 games. The Bundesliga club signed Jovic on a two-year loan from Benfica with an obligatory €5m buyout clause before selling him to Real Madrid for €60m last summer. Napoli have also made contact with Haaland’s representatives, before and after his Champions League hat-trick against Genk, but were told that nothing will happen before the end of the season when Salzburg will put a value on him and see whether anyone is prepared to match it orwhether there is an auction to sign him. snip I completely agree about balance and Willian. He is so in demand becuase of his defence as a winger, there are very few (even at his age) better in the world atm in terms of that aspect of his play. Federico Chiesa is good on defence at times. Alphonso Davies too, especially for a teenager, but it looks like Bayern is going to convert him to left back, and to be the new Alaba (plus it is Bayern, they are so not selling him.) Great defensive wingers are super rare, that is why so many wanted Willian. X-factor players (wingers and /or AMF and some of these are not available and some are a no go) Mbappe Neymar Sadio Mane De Bruyne (GRRRR) João Félix Ousame Dembele (IF his head is on straight) Kai Havertz Jadon Sancho Bernardo Silva Paulo Dybala Nicolò Zaniolo (can play RW too, is left footed, big (1.90m) only 20, this is who I would go for Christian Eriksen Philippe Coutinho Roberto Firmino (unique CF) Timo Werner (as we can play winger too) Bruno Fernandes Nabil Fekir (still think he is damaged goods, which is a bloody shame) Donny van de Beek Hakim Ziyech James Rodríguez Houssem Aouar James Maddison Youri Tielemans Pablo Sarabia Martin Ødegaard Reinier Jesus (Flamengo, AMF)
