AC can fetch £40m or close so it would be a wash money-wise. My main concern about Áke is his lack of size. He is shorter than I am by a cm. I guess that is oki, but it sure would be nice to have a 1.94m, 95kg beast like Konate to pair up pur other CB's and even Romagnoli is around 6 feet 2 and a half inches and strong as hell, plus a great ball playing CB. He is an exeption to Serie A CB players I think, as is Skriniar and Koulibaly (too old to buy now for what Napoli will want.) I will not go bonkers if we end up with Äke. Is he struggling? I saw him play two matches and he looked a beast but 2 games is not enough to evaluate fully, which is why I added the caveat of IF he plays well the full year at LB. I have tracked him as a CB for years.
