Bournemouth losing £40m man, linked with Chelsea, would be a damning blow to Eddie Howe https://90maat.com/bournemouth-losing-40m-man-linked-with-chelsea-would-be-a-damning-blow-to-eddie-howe-opinion/ A.F.C Bournemouth are in heaps of danger having dropped into the relegation zone after a 4-0 defeat to fellow strugglers West Ham in their last Premier League outing. But further issues could be on the horizon as the Cherries are at risk of losing their most crucial defensive asset in January. Reports have emerged in The Sun that Chelsea are considering exercising the £40m buyback clause they had placed in Nathan Ake’s contract if they can offload Andreas Christiansen. Eddie Howe will be spending the entire month worrying that the Cherries could lose their star man should a buyer be found for Christensen. Losing Ake would be catastrophic for the side who sit in 18th place in the Premier League table in their attempts to spend a sixth consecutive season in the English top-flight. The issue is that Howe’s side have scored just two goals in their past seven Premier League fixtures and without anyone finding the back of the net regularly they are reliant on keeping a tight defence to pick up any points. Former Bournemouth Player of the Season Ake has made 16 starts this campaign keeping three clean sheets as the Cherries have struggled to keep other sides out. But his place in the starting eleven is all but guaranteed as only Chris Mepham has made more tackles and interceptions at centre back than the Dutch international. Furthermore, Ake is essential for Howe’s style of play building from the back, with the central defender having averaged the second-most passes of any Cherries player whilst boasting the highest pass completion rate. In essence, Ake is a critical cog in stopping the opposition scoring and starting moves for the Cherries. The sum Chelsea would have to pay is a considerable fee for Bournemouth to receive. However, the fact Chelsea have a buy-back clause means they could trigger it at any moment. Howe is likely to be concerned that the Blues could wait right until the end of the window to push the move through and all the power is in Frank Lampard’s hands. Should Bournemouth lose Ake, it would be an enormous blow to their chances of surviving in the Premier League. But if they fail to find a replacement for Ake, the Cherries will be as good as relegated.

not sure of their FFP status, but Dembele will not be on a crazy salary plus they have a lot to sell off if need be

I really do not see Zouma going anywhere, unless someone just offers cray cray amounts of quid Kinda made my peace with it a month or so ago But we so so need a ball playing CB for certain games I think Tomori can become that but not 100% sold yet Ake is good on the ball so is Caglar Söyüncü (the more I see of him, the more I like, dog help the league if they pull off getting Merih Demiral prised away from Juve, they will have a Turkish wall at CB for years to come (if they can hold onto them) Diop is better on the ball than Zouma, for what that is worth

ughhhhhhh probably the low point of the year I would love to see Bournemouth and Burnley go down and never return

hell yes, and he is trouble in the dressing room super ego Manure is poison only players they have who remotely interest me are Rashford (who is not poison at all, I think he is the only senior player on the team who gives max effort every game) and maybe Martial (too expensive for him though, I would wager and we fumbled about with him before, so do not want to go through that shite again) Manure will never sell Rashford anyway, so it is all academic oh yes, two youngsters they have Mason Greenwood (he looks a baller, he would flourish under Lamps) and the on-loan Dean Henderson, who is one of the few English keepers I rate AW-B is so limited offensively, but is a beast defensively so maybe toss him in there too they have a truly insane amount of dregs their MF is a goddamn mess just kills me that we keep losing to them!!!!!! OGS is utterly clueless

ABOVE IT Jesse Lingard might think he’s ‘too big for Leicester’ amid rumours of Manchester United swap deal for James Maddison – Danny Murphy https://talksport.com/football/652662/jesse-lingard-leicester-man-utd-james-maddison-danny-murphy/ Danny Murphy does not think swapping Jesse Lingard plus cash for James Maddison would work, because the Manchester United midfielder might consider himself ‘too big’ for Leicester. The Red Devils have reportedly offered out-of-form Lingard plus £45million to sign Maddison this month, according to the Mirror. However, Murphy suggests Lingard probably sees himself at a ‘bigger club’, despite scoring just one goal in the past 12 months. snip lololol

big problem is the uncertainty over the pricing of Werner and Sancho in January (even with a loan back for both) If you take the max that has been quoted for both together, it is now around £200m (if the agent demands of Sancho's are to be believed, which is hopefully a pile of tosh) Werner's RC supposedly goes down by half or so in the summer I have no confidence in anything that is being reported, so who really knows what is going on I totally agree on Telles, but I also see zero linkage with him and us, so it looks like a Chilwell in the summer or bust situ, which worries me greatly as for CB, I do not have a clue if thsi Dop linkage is true or not, and again, there are multiple offers/prices being pushed by the press something has to be going on (with Diop or some other CB) I think or we surely would have exercised Ake's buyback clause for £40m, unless we are waiting to see the true extent of his hamstring injury OR, as may be the case, Lamps doesn't really rate Ake and is more than willing, as he has said, to have AC fight for his place on the team everything is so up in the air, but that is normal for a January window that all said as I have been saying for the past several weeks, as much as I would love to have them, and as much as I truly believe we NEED them all if we are to fight for trophies in a couple years, I am feeling like we fail to get any of the big three (Chilwell, Sancho, and Werner), all for different reasons I can so see us (in the summer) pulling Dembele and not Werner (outside shot we pull Moussa this window) and then miss out on Chilwell to Shitty and miss out on Sancho either due to cost, or one of the bigger teams grabbing him or a combo of both I so hope I am wrong, so hope I am underestimation our pulling power the team seems very reluctant to actually spend money on buys and also to pull triggers on sales, partially due to that massive year over year loss we just took and partially due, I think, to them overestimating the value of some of the layers we are currently stuck with I have yet to see any actual concrete evidence that we actually are committed to a £150m war chest for January alone, as that may be the total for BOTH January and the summer windows, in which case we are pretty much fucked in terms of grand plans, as that means for a total of 3 windows (2 summers.2019, 2020 and a January 2020 slot, albeit one summer was due to the ban) we are ony committed to an average of £50m per window (£150m divided by 3) FFP is looming large. We simply MUST qualify for the CL next year or we will be facing yet another big revenue loss when the December 2021 report comes out 2 years from now. If we have another net £100m loss reported 2 years from now, we will more than likely be on breach of FFP IF we also spend huge money on the transfer market the next (county this one) 3 windows. Selling Kante (this summer is the last window we are going to get huge money for him, as he turns 30yo next season, right as spring starts) would help A LOT, but the mere suggestion would see me burned like a witch in some parts. I think in his current role, he is simply not worth the money we can get for him, and is not remotely (in his current usage format) the player he can still be. We have reduced him to a bog standard CMF as of now. Something has to give. A 3 man MF (in a 4 3 3 ) of Jorginho, Kante, and Kovacic is just never going to work.and if we go to a 4 2 3 1 then one of those 3 has to be dropped anyway, as none are AMF's in even the slightest, most remote sense, plus, even when Mount is tossed in, we still have fuckall for creativity as well atm.

Burnley injury update with Ashley Barnes to see specialist https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18149958.burnley-injury-update-ashley-barnes-see-specialist/ The 30-year-old, who has six goals this season, was not involved in the third round FA Cup win over Peterborough last weekend and is expected to miss the trip to Chelsea when the Clarets return to Premier League action on Saturday. The issue has plagued him in recent weeks with boss Sean Dyche saying it was now a matter of getting to the bottom of it. "We will almost definitely be missing Barnsey," he said ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge.

PIA PRESSURE Tottenham agree £28m transfer deal with AC Milan for Krzysztof Piatek with skipper Harry Kane out injured until April https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10708648/tottenham-transfer-news-piatek-ac-milan-harry-kane-injury/ TOTTENHAM have agreed a deal worth £28million for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek. The Polish striker, 24, is set to sign a 3½-year contract and scheduled to complete a medical in the next 48 hours. Jose Mourinho’s North Londoners will pay an initial fee of £23.8m — with a further £4.2m to come in add-ons. Spurs will be without star goalscorer Harry Kane until April after confirming the England skipper needs to go under the knife to fix his hamstring injury. Kane limped out of Tottenham's clash with Southampton clutching his left leg and is racing to be fit for Euro 2020 with a ruptured tendon. SunSport exclusively revealed yesterday that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was desperate to bring in a new striker and planned to hold talks over Piatek. Aston Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace were interested but Spurs are in pole position to land the ace, who is keen to stay at a big club. Piatek joined from Genoa for £30m a year ago, yet has just four goals this season.

will not shock me at all if we do nothing this window as it stands we are already basically one third of the way through the window and will not be surprised if we cock up some sales to boot I see real hatred toward doing business with Inter because of Conte Roman and Marina have been made fools of in the press for days over the insane money we tossed out over his sacking you know that shite PISSES them off combine that with the massive loss we took for the fiscal year only rumour I trust atm is this Dembele attempt (Lampard really does want him) and I see Lyon playing super hardball to the point we just wait till summer unless they back down if we truly wanted Ake, he is right there for the taking right now, IF you really rated a player you would never hesitate to get the deal done and get him into the family fold ASAP I am not sure I even believe we are making a move for Issa Diop, but no chance West Ham sell him for only £40m, that is so under-market for one of the few young decent EPL-proven centre backs out there the only CB's under 25yo worth more than £25m in the entire EPL are Caglar Söyüncü, Joe Gomez (HG), Davinson Sánchez, AC (HG), Tomori (HG), Diop, and Ake (HG) (and he turns 25 in 5 weeks) Maybe, maybe Jan Bednarek, Eric García (only 19yo and also HG) at Shitty maybe soon (I think he is a key for Pep not buying a CB atm) That is it. In the Championship maybe Ben White, and no one else is close.

Costa is out with a disc issue in his back that he had surgery for Morata is their only other true number 9 João Félix is more of a SS/winger type and then Ivan Saponjic is pure scrub, he has zero minutes, no clue why they even bought him from Benfica B team (well, he was only £450K so really doesn't matter, Messi makes that much in THREE DAYS salary, lololol) back to Costa even though he had back surgery several weeks ago he is out doing cray cray shit again like this he is a nutter
