  2. it might be utter bullshit, but Spanish media are claiming Werner has signed a pre-contract to move to the dippers in the summer https://eldesmarque.com/madrid/real-madrid/noticias/182681-klopp-se-lo-quita-a-florentino-perez-ultima-hora-adios-zidane-ed I am NOT putting my reputation on the line with this at all, but it does synch up with what Bild has been reporting in terms of his preference for Klopp and the scouser scum

  4. Ballwatcher is Luiz's middle name Ballgrabber is Jorginho's It's a Brasilian thing, lololol
  5. oh, I am with you but my logical reasoning is what I am posting when I am talking on Werner as of now obviously things can change the whole 'but he cannot start at the dippers' is simply not a persuasive argument for me as Tammy is FAR younger than Firmino (so long term thsi favours the dippers) and between games where one of their wingers rests plus the games where Firmino is rested there are a tonne of opportunities for Werner to start Also by injecting a 'start' or 'not start' angle into the debate, we are basically also admitting that Tammy is not good enough in the longer run (I am not saying he is is is not btw, that is another kettle of fish that no one knows as of now)
  6. Suarez cannot go on forever he turns 34 a year and 3 days from now and is increasingly injured (very badly atm) Messi is perhaps showing age too (not ready to call that outright yet) he is exactly 5 months younger than Suarez he is having (for hm) a pretty meh year toss Real in that Werner mix too Benzema is 33 in the first half of next season and Jovic has been a bust so far so they have basically shit for strikers if Benz goes down unless you think Mariano Díaz will explode out of nowhere, which is very doubtful as ZZ wants him gone, sold
  7. I do too and I fixed my Chilwell part he is NOT worth £80m (I left out the 'not' part)
  8. He would start a lot of games. You are discounting his ability to play on the wings as well. It is simply not true that he would not. I truly believe that, but of course you are free to disagree. I like my chances of being proven correct. Liverpools system is almost a mirror of the type that Werner thrives in, Bayern is NOT a high tempo press press press team now. Also, Klopp is German, that is a huge plus there. The lad is on pace to account for 70 goals in a 4000 minute season. 50 goals, 20 assists. Firmino turns 30 near the beginning of the season after next, Werner is 4 and half year younger. Liverpool are a bigger and far better club that us atm, with vastly more trophy prospects. I am NOT 100% saying Liverpool is where he ends up, but they are deffo the front runners atm (at least until Barca and RM get involved, and maybe still then. Bottom line for me: The odds are very low Werner ends up here. We are so not the favourite. We almost never sign top 5 in the world (at their position) massive targets. Kante was not regarded as such when we signed him. Nor was Hazard. We certainly were not in an all out brawl with most top teams on the planet to sign them Yet some think we are now magically going to snap our fingers and out of the blue sign (in ONE window as well) 3 such players (Werner, Sancho, Chilwell) Chilwell is our best shot to do so, and ironically also the main one I think we should pass on due to his crazy over-valuation. He is not worth £80m. Bookmark this. I think history will treat me well.
  9. Chelsea’s move for Edinson Cavani held back by striker’s wage demands https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/edinson-cavani-chelsea-transfer-news-wages-block-psg-move-a4339936.html Edinson Cavani’s wage demands are threatening to be a stumbling block in Chelsea’s pursuit of the Paris Saint-Germain striker. The Blues are exploring the possibility of signing the Uruguay international after he handed in a transfer request seeking to leave the club this month, despite his existing contract expiring at the end of the season. PSG want around £15million to allow him to depart but the greater problem for his suitors, who also include Atletico Madrid, is Cavani’s reluctance to take a wage cut from his current salary. Cavani earns in excess of £360,000-a-week and it is understood he wants a minimum 18-month contract. That works out at approximately £19m per season and added to a hefty signing-on fee, the total outlay could easily surpass £50m for a player who turns 33 next month. snip
  10. Timo Werner tweet sparks savage RB Leipzig dig at Chelsea after translation chaos Chelsea target Werner's tweet was translated by a fan to mean he was on the way to Stamford Bridge – but the German's club RB Leipzig had a brutal response https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/timo-werner-tweet-sparks-savage-21325028 ouch!!
  11. We clinched the title with (what else) a nil nil draw Stuart Baxter was our manager we got to the group stages in the CL and drew with Fiorentina (3 goals for us disallowed) and almost beat Barca (they scored 2 goals in the last ten minutes, one of them in the 93rd minute), a Barca with Figo, Luis Enrique, Rivaldo, Kluivert, Pep, Cocu, etc etc here is our title clincher lolol at Baxter speaking Swedish with his Scottish accent
  12. Mauricio Pochettino makes one main demand to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United https://metro.co.uk/2020/01/20/mauricio-pochettino-makes-demand-replace-ole-gunnar-solskjaer-manchester-united-12092796/ Mauricio Pochettino is willing to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United at the end of the season, but wants control over transfers. The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has been long admired by the United board and was thought to be their first choice after parting ways with Jose Mourinho midway through last season. Solskjaer earned the full-time gig after impressing as interim manager but has failed to turn United’s fortunes around and the club’s hierarchy are considering their options Pochettino and Max Allegri are the top contenders to replace Solskjaer as Manchester United manager, according to Alfredo Pedulla, and talks have already begun with the ex-Spurs and Southampton boss. And while Pochettino is willing to take control of the club in the summer, he has insisted on having guarantees in place over arrivals at Old Trafford. Recruitment has been a big problem for Manchester United in recent years, with Mourinho’s frustrated response to the failure to deliver top targets being one of the key reasons behind his departure. snip
  13. Bild say much-wanted star fancies move to Liverpool – Signing for Reds is ‘preferred goal’ http://sportwitness.co.uk/bild-say-much-wanted-star-fancies-liverpool-move-klopp-p/ ENGLÄNDER BERICHTEN Jetzt mischt auch Klopp im Werner-Poker mit https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/fussball/premier-league-liverpool-trainer-klopp-an-rb-leipzigs-werner-dran-67436962,jsPageReloaded=true.bild.html#remId=1609798987882374163
  14. in 1998 AIK (the Stockholm team we support) won the Allsvenskan, despite scoring only 25 goals in 26 games (lowest scoring team in the league that year)
  15. I'd personally prefer Cavani tbh. Dembele signing would effectively end our pursuit for Werner or someone of a similar ilk in the Summer. Werner is not coming here, I am 90% plus convinced, maybe 95% the only other great striker who MAY move (doubtful atm and he will be hugely expensive, and will also not come here, is Lautaro) Dembele is the best of the lot we can get realistically hope for, unless we somehow get Shitty to cough up Jesus, but that is so not happening unless the cough up Jesus is Pep choking on a communion wafer we are cray to pay 25m quid for a 33yo who is on almost 20m euros a year salary (Cavani) IF he and PSG BOTH come WAY down then sure, stopgap is fine but I doubt either does, and thus even 18 months of Cavani will cost close to almost 45-50m pounds (fee plus salary) we cannot spend like that especially as £142m Kepa looks like he is a serious potential bust and I (despite it basically being almost a no brainer given his age and poor play where we play him) think we will NOT sell Kante in the summer (which likely is going to fuck us hard in the long run at multiple levels) and dog help us if we miss out on CL again
  16. Werner prefers Liverpool switch over Chelsea move https://www.espn.co.uk/football/blog-transfer-talk/story/4036940/ no shit, that is like saying water is wet
  17. I think we have a shot at landing Dembele now that Lyon just bought a striker not a guarantee, but deffo raises hopes a little
  18. Beside Meret and Stakosha André Onana - Ajax best option IMHO after that Odysseas Vlachodimos Benfica Koen Casteels (1.97m) Wolsburg Tomas Vaclik Sevilla Bartlomiej Dragowski Fiorentina on edit added Predrag Rajković Stade de Reims next young super hot prospect Russian too Matvey Safonov - Krasnodar best older ones Kasper Schmeichel Keylor Navas Samir Handanovic (if he were 7 or 8 years younger I would flat out swap Kepa for him in a hearbeat)
  19. yep, it is looking like a£142m utter cock-up dont blame me my 2018 choice is on one of the hottest teams on the planet Thomas Strakosha on Lazio my second choice Alex Meret is surging in value as well and my 2017 choice is now the best GK on the planet Alisson (who could have been had for less than 25m then) my new choice after that was just purchased snagged (on a fucking free) by Bayern for summer 2020 Alexander Nübel we are probably going to have to buy some serious competition for Kepa on the cheap (even if it is an older keeper) gooooooooo board! NOT
  20. all the transfers so far for player worth at least 4m by market value
