massive buy now they go for either Isak or Gyökeres or Osimhen I wager the fall back play if they fail on those 3 is probably Benjamin Sesko, with Ekitike as the 5th option, J David as 6th option cannot see them going to Delap, he doesnt fit their profile

Exclusive: Chelsea exploring shock move to bring back Antonio Rudiger https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/tag/exclusive-newsnow/exclusive-Chelsea-transfer-news-antonio-rudiger-real-madrid-steve-kay FootballTransfers understands that Chelsea are exploring a shock move to bring Antonio Rudiger back to Stamford Bridge. We have been told that the Blues have reached out to the defender's camp in recent days to be kept informed on Rudiger’s future at Real Madrid, with early groundwork being laid for a potential summer swoop. The West London side are understood to be "ready to negotiate" if given the green light for a move that would reunite the German superstar with his former club three years after his painful departure on a free transfer. Rudiger is generally happy at Real Madrid, but a change of scenery could be needed, with sources close to the player informing us that the 32-year-old has become increasingly difficult to deal with in recent months. One source familiar with recent developments revealed: “It’s been tense. He’s clashed with people in his inner circle, and it’s made discussions on certain matters extremely difficult.” Most notably, Rudiger is said to have fallen out with his brother and agent, Sahr Senesie, just before Christmas. The exact reason for the dispute is unknown, but it became so heated that the Los Blancos star threatened to cut ties entirely. Chelsea not worried about Rudiger's personality Despite the personal drama, Chelsea believe the German international remains a world-class asset. “He’s a leader, a warrior, exactly what this Chelsea dressing room needs,” a club source said. “There’s no fear about his personality. If anything, that fire is what we’re missing.” And there may be cause for optimism. Rudiger previously spoke with deep affection about his time in London, stating in 2022: "Chelsea will always be in my heart. London will always be my home." While Real Madrid have yet to take a firm stance, the situation could escalate quickly. In recent months, there has been talk of a potential contract extension, but in light of the player's antics in the Copa del Rey final, which resulted in a six-game ban, the LaLiga giants could reconsider his role in the team. Moreover, with Eder Militao nearing a return to the pitch and Madrid showing interest in Arsenal’s William Saliba and Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen, the two-time Champions League winner's position may come under threat.

I agree, and up until 3 months ago, the kid was only 18! he has crazy upside Gittens is soon 21yo (obviously still young as well, but has far more topflight gametime) George may well be a better (perhaps far better) player at that age (21) than Gittens and Tyrique doesn't cost us 50m, 60m quid (at minimum, as Dortmund are looking to get 80-100 million euros for him, ffs.)

watch them without Partey, and now realise that Partey is now in his 30s and until the past 6, 9 months or so never lived up to his hype odds are somewhat decent that Partey may soon revert back to norm and also factor in that Martín Zubimendi is streets ahead of Partey in most aspects of play Zubi is a poor man's Rodri, to a degree I rate the hell out of him

Swedish media deliver their Reggie Walsh verdict after watching the Chelsea talent face Djurgarden https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/news/swedish-media-deliver-their-reggie-walsh-verdict-after-watching-the-Chelsea-talent-face-djurgarden/ Reggie Walsh is winning plaudits in Sweden following his performance in Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Djurgarden. The young midfielder made his Chelsea debut as a substitute in the first-leg victory before earning his first start in the second leg on Thursday night. Walsh and his teammates won the Conference League semi-final tie 5-1 on aggregate and will now face Real Betis in the final. While the likes of Walsh and Tyrique George played well, with that final being such a huge game for Chelsea, you would expect them to drop back down to the bench. Walsh may not even make the matchday squad altogether, which is understandable given that he is still only 16. Swedish media think Reggie Walsh can go anywhere in football Chelsea fans were impressed with Walsh’s performance against Djurgarden, but they were not the only ones. Swedish publication FotbollDirekt could not get enough of the teenager either, claiming that he could evolve into anything one day. Following the game, they wrote: “The 16-year-old can become anything he wants. Chelsea’s 16-year-old Reggie Walsh was allowed to jump into the first match and made his debut for the Premier League team’s first team. There and then he came on for two minutes, but on Thursday night it was different. Walsh got the chance to start against Djurgarden and became Chelsea’s youngest player to start a European match — ever. “Although the youth of the super talent was clearly visible, many people were probably really surprised by the young Englishman. Walsh was responsible for a delicious action when he really spun up the defence and it feels like this was not the last we saw of the youngster.” snip

Looks like Arsenal and not going to cock it up this time and will probably sign the perfect MFer (actually available) for them: Martín Zubimendi
-
Fiorentina had a clearly stronger side except for one HUGE flaw they have NO real wingers on their entire squad (not just for this game, I mean literally all their players under contract as they sold Nicolás González to Juve last summer, a loan with obligation to buy), other than a youth product, a teen named Mate Caprini, vauled at only £1.7m they also loaned (both with options to buy) Riccardo Sottil (to AC Milan) and Jonathan Ikoné (to Como)

Betis won so we play them in their first ever european final

Betis scored 3 4 agg

extra time in the other semi 3 3 on agg
