  1. If true, we need to stop fucking about and just get it done. The only other RWB who is doable AND potentially at Hakimi level (Silas) is out with a knee injury and needs to be watched to see if he recovers. All others after those 2 are not at their level (Hakimi) or potential, pre injury level (Silas). I am going to be gutted if PSG pulls Hakimi. He is a best in world (at a specific position, in his case right wingback) vision target, as is Håland (in a year or two for Erling, as Lewa will fade, and he will become the best pure CF).
  2. you are far from the first (and many have NOT been joking) to suggest we move for Pogba since I have joined the board 3and half years ago or so
  3. I am sorry but he is 37 and 38yo in the last year no CB except maybe Maldini is worth that type of cash at 37/38 (at 40 years of age Maldini started 30 league games on a CL qualifying AC MIlan side, but he is a once in a lifetime genetic freak of a CB/Fullback) Maldini at 50+ years of age looks like he could still play at least a half
  4. lol, Sergio Ramos wants 3 year deal at €15m per year NET (so €90m gross total!) that is £500K PER WEEK gross (how we rate salaries) he can go fuck himself
  5. lol (they are almost exact same age (Pogba turns 29yo in March, Varane turns 29yo in April) Real Madrid will reject Manchester United’s offer to swap Paul Pogba for Raphael Varane https://metro.co.uk/2021/06/21/real-madrid-will-reject-manchester-uniteds-offer-to-swap-paul-pogba-for-raphael-varane-14807270/
  6. are people on here losing their minds suggesting we buy Pogba? WHY would we want that asshole? His salary, Mino fee, transfer fee and add-ons, etc would total to £170+ million or so Manure are offering him a £104m contract! that is fucking madness and he is shite in the EPL overall for what Manure has paid him he needs to go back to grandpa league Serie A
  7. he is not worth £60m at this point in his career £35m, 40m, sure and I have followed him since 2016 he is fairly unique, would not be at all upset to see him come for a fair price
  8. "An enormous blow for him and what a blow for the nation" Graeme Souness gives his reaction after Chelsea's Billy Gilmour is ruled out of #SCO's game against #CRO after testing positive for Covid-19.
  9. in terms of actual even remotely available (some would take a shit tonne of cash to turn the heads of the selling club) best RWB options Achraf Hakimi Silas Katompa Mvumpa (22yo, 1.89m beast, out with a knee injury atm though, IF he recovers we could be a massive weapon if we fail on Hakimi, he has insane pace and a better shot, 13 goals and 5 assists in only 2100 minutes for Stuttgart, I so hope his knee injury heals up completely and fast) Emerson Royal (if Barca sells him) James Justin (Leicester will want insane cash though) Adama Traoré Enock Mwepu (23yo, 1.84m, 10 goals, 7 assists for RB Salzburg) Lutsharel Geertruida (20yo, 1.84m Feyenoord RWB, 8 goals 2 assists, but now is also out with an injured knee) Devyne Rensch (18yo 1.79m Ajax youngster, 3 goals, 2 assist in the league in the 9 games after he went fulltime starter) Wilfried Singo (20yo 1.9m beast for Torino, super raw, needs time) best LWB options Theo Hernández Robin Gosens Ramy Bensebaini Borna Sosa (23yo Croatian, 1.86m, 10 Bundesliga assists as a LWB/LB in only 2000 minutes, 9 in 3 months, from mid January to mid April, then had a now-recovered-from shoulder injury) best bargain buy out of all these Plus, the 18yo (19yo in 3 days) Nuno Mendes, who I can so see becoming a monster and easily reaching that level, although he is nowhere nearly as large (1.76m so they say) as 4 listed above, all of whom are over 6 feet tall, although he has tremendous leaping skills, he is extremely athletic. Alfonso Pedraza is sorta getting there as well and is 1.84m, so has good size as well, but I am NOT convinced he si Chels quality wild card, a 21yo, 1.81cm Brasilian from Club Athletico Paranaense, Abner Vinicius
  10. Inter Milan outline new condition for Chelsea to complete Achraf Hakimi transfer The Blues continue to be linked with the Moroccan wing-back but Inter first have to sell another player before they contemplate letting him go https://www.football.london/Chelsea-fc/transfer-news/Chelsea-hakimi-condition-inter-milan-20862952 Chelsea continue to be strongly linked with a move for Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi. Competing with Paris Saint-Germain for his signature, the Blues have reportedly plotted a swap deal involving current defender Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard appears unlikely to have a future at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer, with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel preferring England international Ben Chilwell. Meanwhile, the arrival of Alonso has reportedly been approved by Inter’s newly appointed boss Simone Inzaghi. However, there is a potential problem in Marina Granovskaia’s plan in that Inter’s current wing-back option Ivan Perisic must be sold in order for the Serie A champions to accept any deal involving Alonso. According to FCinternews, a sale of the Croatian international this summer is “essential” should the swap deal be accepted. A finalist of the World Cup in 2018, the 32-year-old is out of contract next summer and is apparently being eyed by Bundesliga clubs which could potentially make a sale a little easier.
  11. €70m (£60m), not £70m Dortmund had a €30m (£25.5m) buyback that kicked in this month, BUT now I am seeing articles saying Real Sociedad have 'gotten rid' of that, but no explanation as to how they did so. I have never really heard of this before, and the only way I can see it is IF Dortmund accepted a big cash buyout to make the buyback null and void. Alexander Isak's buy-back clause situation and what it could mean for Premier League suitors Real Sociedad have managed to rid of Alexander Isak's buy-back clause which strengthens their transfer stance amid interest from Premier League sides like Chelsea https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/alexander-isak-transfer-interest-latest-24360556 Borussia Dortmund no longer have a buy-back option on Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak. The Swedish star has been a revelation in La Liga, scoring 17 times and attracting interest from around Europe. Dortmund allowed Isak to leave for Sociedad in 2019 but included a clause that allowed them to buy the striker back for £25m. The Spanish side have managed to rid of that buy-back option however meaning they can now name their price. Isak continues to impress at Euro 2020 and put in a man of the match display against Slovakia recently. Chelsea are among those keen on the 21-year-old with Thomas Tuchel knowing the striker from his time at Dortmund. Sociedad are adamant he will not be sold for less than his £60m buyout clause but the Blues are looking to add a striker this summer. Dortmund's handling of Isak was a cause of tension between Tuchel and the Bundesliga club as he wasn't informed of his return in January 2017. The German spoke highly of the striker even then, saying: "Alex is a very strong striker, who can play with his back toward goal and is strong in the combination. He scores a lot of goals, so it is great to have him here. "The signing of Isak makes perfect sense. This gives the club a long-term solution for the position of striker. Isak is a very talented player.
  12. Juve are a joke with that lowball offer
  13. bye bye sweaties, Croatian MF will crush them it must be the Delta variant, it is running riot in so many places
  14. I think West Ham will likely demand £100m for Rice, £90m for sure, which is madness. I agree on Aurélien Tchouaméni, especially if £30m pulls him. Locatelli is another option, but I fear his price is skyrocketing due to superb Euros so far.
  15. Inter will not take (if cash only) 70m euros atm. It is €80m or bust. Think about what you just typed. You just valued Alonso at only £8.5m quid, which is madness if any team thinks they could buy him from us for that this summer. I would 1000% rather have him at backup LWB than Emerson anyday this coming season. Of course, I have been saying Gosens for last 2 years, and flush both of them. Still am seething we turned down £45m for Marcos in 2018 (even worse was the £65m turndown for Willian). Fucking Sarri and some of the board.
