yes, but the point was almost all of those could be still had the only CF's on the planet who are (at this exact instant) as good as or better than Kane are Lewa Mbappe (if you count him as a CF) Håland Benzema CR7 (if you count him as a CF) and maybe Lukaku big, huge drop off after those 6, the next best is Lautaro, then another huge drop off (and 3 of them will soon age off the list, Lewa, Benz, and CR7, 2 years, 3 MAX left for each)
-
not anymore I truly fear thank fuck they are held back somewhat by Ole and a lack of a class DMF, lack of depth at CF (as Cavani is too old to play every game or even most, and they want to ship Martial out) and not a lot of depth at CMF (Fred is meh, van de Beek a bust so far) if they added Dušan Vlahović or Dominic Calvert-Lewin at CF and any of these DMFs Declan Rice Aurélien Tchouaméni Eduardo Camavinga (although I think they would still try and ad a cruncher and use Camavinga more as a box to box, this sorting them at CMF) Rúben Neves Kalvin Phillips Tomas Soucek Boubacar Kamara Wilfred Ndidi they are simply a great manager away from being a top 5 or 6 club in world level atm, and may be there even with Ole at the wheel

not good enough IMHO, at least not right now

still time to grab (granted some are flawed situs, like Isak's cray release clause, etc, or not great fits) am just tossing every remote possibility out there Lautaro Martínez Gabriel Jesus Richarlison Victor Osimhen Dominic Calvert-Lewin Anthony Martial Youssef En-Nesyri Dusan Vlahovic Alexander Isak Gerard Moreno Mauro Icardi Jonathan David João Félix Antoine Griezmann Paulo Dybala Moise Kean Andrea Belotti Duván Zapata Ollie Watkins Matheus Cunha Amine Gouiri Wout Weghorst Ivan Toney Patrik Schick Raúl Jiménez Andrej Kramaric Fábio Silva Maxi Gómez Rafael Leão Iñaki Williams Kasper Dolberg Arkadiusz Milik Patrick Bamford Alassane Plea Callum Wilson Yussuf Poulsen Kelechi Iheanacho Paul Onuachu Luka Jovic Moussa Dembélé Lucas Alario Adam Hlozek Odsonne Edouard Alexander Sörloth Breel Embolo Haris Seferovic Aleksandar Mitrovic Giacomo Raspadori Krzysztof Piatek Karl Toko Ekambi

and they are still sniffing around (all of the following involve Manure, (except for Theo more than likely) in one way for another either now or down the road next summer) Theo Hernandez Camavinga Pogba CR7 Leon Goretzka (if he will not renew with Bayern) Kimmich (see Goretzka, although he is far more likely to renew) Håland (summer 2022 unless the miracle buy for Bayern takes place now, which is 98% unlikely) the only fail so far for them was Varane, who only wanted Manure and finally they are trying like hell to renew Mbappe

Manuel Locatelli: Italy midfielder signs for Juventus on loan with obligation to buy in 2023 https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58256513 Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli has joined Juventus on a two-year loan from Sassuolo with an obligation to buy in 2023. Locatelli, 23, was part of the Italy squad that won Euro 2020 last month, scoring twice in five games and coming on as a late substitute in the final. The deal will become a permanent transfer in June 2023 for a further three years, with a fee of up to 37.5m euros (£32m) agreed. Locatelli joined Sassuolo in 2018. The former AC Milan player had been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool during this summer's transfer window. Juventus missed out on the Serie A title for the first time since 2012 as they finished fourth last season and reappointed former boss Massimiliano Allegri in May after sacking Andrea Pirlo. They begin their 2021-22 Serie A season at Udinese on Sunday. Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday criticised media reports linking him with a move away from the Turin club.

Chelsea transfer round-up: Jules Kounde offer rejected as Jude Bellingham interest grows https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/Chelsea-transfer-news-kounde-bellingham-24778627 Chelsea are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to secure their first Premier League title since 2017 as they strengthen a playing squad that won the Champions League earlier this year. The Blues have already bolstered in the position they needed most, with Thomas Tuchel not hesitating over the chance to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for just under £100m ten years after he first arrived at Stamford Bridge. However, more arrivals are expected in West London as Chelsea aim to end the recent dominance of Manchester City and Liverpool over the Premier League. Tuchel's is also keen to trim his bloated squad ahead of the new season and is expected to oversee a number of departures with just 14 days of the window left. Tammy Abraham's move to AS Roma has been confirmed, pocketing the Blues a tidy £34m from the Serie A outfit, while Michy Batshuayi has joined Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas. With that being said, here is Mirror Sport's Chelsea transfer round-up for Wednesday, August 18. Chelsea have "strong" interest in Sevilla star Chelsea are the latest club to pursue Sevilla central defender Jules Kounde, with The Guardian claiming the Blues hold a "strong" interest in the Frenchman. The report claims that Chelsea have seen a number of proposals rebuffed by the La Liga outfit, but have not been deterred in their efforts and will continue to keep tabs on the star. Kounde's situation has been monitored by a number of top clubs across the continent, including Chelsea's Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, though the centre-back is thought to favour the idea of moving to a club involved in the Champions League this season. At just 22 years of age, Kounde is one of the most highly sought defenders on the continent, but Chelsea face a race against time. One obstacle standing in their way could be his release clause, which is set to increase from £68m to £77m at the end of the window. Zouma exit will impact incomings Another stumbling block to Kounde's signature is that the deal could hinge on the future of Kurt Zouma, who is currently unable to find a new club despite being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. West Ham were the side most heavily linked with a move for Zouma, who was thought to be keen on making the short move across London. However, a deal has failed to materialise due to the Frenchman's hefty wage demands, as per The Sun. The report claims that the 26-year-old is demanding a wage increase of around £40,000 to join David Moyes' side. Zouma, who is currently on around £60,000 per week at Stamford Bridge, was reportedly demanding £100,000 per week from the Hammers. If Chelsea fail to shift Zouma by the end of the month, a deal for Kounde or any centre back is unlikely to take place. Chelsea set sights on Bellingham Chelsea are weighing up the idea of making a shock late swoop for Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. The 18-year-old has taken the Bundesliga by storm after he made the switch from boyhood club Birmingham City last summer, rejecting interest from Manchester United in the process. The Daily Star claim that the teenage sensation caught the eye of Blues owner Roman Abramovich, who views Bellingham as a more than capable alternative to original first-choice target Declan Rice. Bellingham became the youngest player to represent England at a European Championship in the summer and is considered one of the most promising midfielders on the continent. Bellingham upping sticks to West London really would be quite the shock given his contract with Dortmund runs until 2025, meaning Chelsea would have to pay an eye-watering amount to prize him away from the Signal Iduna Park.

we are now over £96m incoming revenue due to some new loans and hopefully the following dregs are soon sold or loaned with obligation to buy when the books are closed we are going to lose at least £100m on these cunts (counting t-fees and salaries we had to cover, minus loan lees and salaries covered) Tiemoué Bakayoko Ross Barkley Danny Drinkwater Abdul Rahman Baba Davide Zappacosta we also turned down numerous offers to buy all of them, because we stupidly thought we could get more (THAT category goes so far beyond just these 5 twats, and when the final books are closed on the 2016/2017 and onward fucked up deals, shit buys, refused sales, non buys that resulted in panic/poor buys, etc, will be close to £350-400m in total monies down the shitter (no, I am NOT joking) When the books are finally closed on them all, I will do a massive tally-up post. It will be head splitting, and it will NOT include Alonso, as he has overcome enough that I am now not writing of the £45m turn-down from Barca. Sometimes (it is rare with this time span) it cannot be claimed as a huge net loss.

Michy Batshuayi: Chelsea forward signs contract extension but joins Besiktas on loan https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58257446 Forward Michy Batshuayi has joined Turkish side Besiktas on loan until the end of the season after extending his contract with Chelsea until 2023. It is the 27-year-old's fifth loan spell since joining the Blues in 2016. Batshuayi has previously had stints with Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and two spells at Crystal Palace, where he scored two goals in 18 league appearances last season. The Belgian has not featured for Chelsea since February 2020. Turkish side Besiktas won the 2020-21 Super Lig and will feature in the Champions League. Since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Marseille for £33m, Batshuayi has scored 25 goals in 77 appearances for the Blues. He scored six goals under Frank Lampard in the 2019-20 season but with Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud in fine form that season he struggled for opportunities. He helped Chelsea to win the Premier League in 2016-17, his debut season. The move comes as Romelu Lukaku returns to the Blues and Abraham departs for Roma.
