  7. Ethan Ampadu provides transfer update on his Chelsea future and names his Venezia lesson Ethan Ampadu is on the third loan of his Chelsea career with Venezia in Serie A and has opened up on what the future holds for him https://www.football.london/Chelsea-fc/transfer-news/ethan-ampadu-Chelsea-transfer-venezia-22146375 Ethan Ampadu is unsure where his Chelsea future lies come the end of the season despite signing a new deal ahead of his loan to Venezia. The Welsh international's contract runs until 2024 but faces some stiff competition to get into the Chelsea starting XI, both in midfield and defence. The 21-year-old has featured six times for Venezia so far and provided a classy assist from midfield in his side's win over Roma ahead of the international break. The Exeter City product is firmly focused on becoming the best player he can for the moment. Ampadu said ahead of Wales' clash with Belarus: “I’m not too sure yet. Obviously, I want to be the best I can be after this loan wherever that is. "But you can’t get to that point without focusing on the present." Despite an uncertain future, Chelsea are of course taking plenty of interest in Ampadu's development. He added: "They’re always watching the games and giving you feedback. Someone has even managed to come out and watch a game. “You still get all the feedback because at the end of the day you’re still a Chelsea player even though my focus is on Venice. Everyone wants you to develop and be a better player so you have that help as well. "My focus is on doing as well as I can with Venezia and seeing where that takes me this summer.” It could be a wise path for Ampadu to take. Twelve months ago Trevoh Chalobah seemed similarly distant from the Blues' first team when heading on loan to Lorient. The defender, like Ampadu, was on the third loan of his Chelsea career and had shown promise in midfield and defence. The duo could even be considered direct competitors for a place in Thomas Tuchel's plans. Of course, Chalobah is now well ahead in the pecking order but his comments upon signing his new contract were telling. The 22-year-old noted: "It’s been an unbelievable start to the season and something I never expected but it just shows that the hard work I’ve put in and going out on loans had paid off." How quickly things changed for Chalobah in pre-season should give Ampadu hope. While the former RB Leipzig and Sheffield United loanee competed at EURO 2020, his teammate was able to spend significant time under Thomas Tuchel's eye to both develop and impress. With next season's World Cup being in the winter, pre-season 2022 could provide the perfect opportunity for Ampadu. Nevertheless, he is firmly focused on the present and improving in Serie A. He said: “I’m enjoying it out there. We’ve had our ups and downs football-wise but the lifestyle is good. It’s not a bad place to live and be around. “That was the reason to go there, to play games and develop as a player. “Even in this short space of time, there are things I’ve learnt already and there are still plenty more things to learn. “That’s the aim for the season, to become a better player.” Already, Ampadu has identified one immediate area to improve himself. The youngster picked up three yellow cards in his opening three Serie A games before being controversially sent off against Salernitana for a challenge on Frank Ribery. "I seem to get yellow cards all the time," Ampadu said, "I am learning how to deal with different situations. I could have prevented that situation (with Ribery) and maybe not got a red card."
  8. fuck that little diving, overacting cunt Ribery too

  10. Bayern Munich hold keen interest in prolific West Brom starlet Reyes Cleary after sending scouts to watch him in U23s action last month https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10186211/Bayern-Munich-hold-keen-prolific-West-Brom-starlet-Reyes-Cleary.html Bayern Munich are taking a keen interest in West Bromwich Albion’s young striker Reyes Cleary. The Bundesliga champions watched the 17-year old in action against Stoke City Under-23s last month and want scouts to check on him again as interest grows in the powerhouse forward. Cleary has scored 14 goals in 12 games this season, following another brace against Leicester City last weekend.
  11. BORUSSIA DORTMUND PLOTTING LOAN MOVE FOR HAKIM ZIYECH http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2021/11/12/transfer-news-borussia-dortmund-plotting-loan-move-for-hakim-ziyech/ Chelsea playmaker Hakim Ziyech has reportedly emerged as a January target for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund are considering a move for Hakim Ziyech. The Chelsea attacker is highly favoured by Marco Rose. The BVB head coach is currently looking for someone who can provide additional creative support for star striker Erling Haaland during the second half of the campaign. Ziyech himself is frustrated over his lack of game-time at Chelsea and is open to sealing an exit away from Stamford Bridge in January. He does have a contract at Chelsea until 2025, which means Dortmund might only be able to secure his services on a loan deal. The Moroccan international has had a difficult time at Chelsea under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel. The German tactician has largely favoured Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Callum Hudson-Odoi, with Ziyech falling behind the trio in the pecking order. In fact, the former Ajax attacker has started only two games in the Premier League this season. He has been a more prominent presence in Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League campaign, but the overall game-time provided to him by Tuchel is far from satisfactory.

  13. more of a replacement for Ziyech, as Nkunku is more of an AMF that a true winger Ziyech is 50% AMF 50% winger when he plays his best (like at Ajax, he floated a tonne) Nkunku is like 80% AMF (or LMF/RMF), 20% true winger (if that) Nkunku turns 24 in 2 days (November 14th) his prime is now, and for next 6, 7 or so years
