  1. Re-sign him, especially as it looks like AC is leaving
  2. I really have to question our scouting programme
  3. NO CRISSY FITS Cristiano Ronaldo told to stop the strops as Man Utd boss Ralf Rangnick lays down the law after Brentford tantrum https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/17404490/man-utd-cristiano-ronaldo-warned-tantrums-rangnick/
  4. Man United out of Haaland running as Real Madrid emerge as favourites https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4574005/man-united-out-of-haaland-running-as-real-madrid-emerge-as-favourites Manchester United are out of the race to sign Erling Haaland, sources told ESPN, with the club ready to focus on alternative attacking options having been made aware the Borussia Dortmund forward favours a summer move to Real Madrid. Haaland, 21, is expected to leave Dortmund at the end of the season due to a €75 million release clause becoming active in his contract at the Bundesliga club this summer. United failed to sign Haaland from FC Salzburg when he moved to Dortmund in January 2020, despite the club maintaining a long-standing interest dating back to his emergence as a 16-year-old at Molde in Norway. Sources told ESPN that senior figures at Old Trafford believe that Haaland is destined for Real this summer and that United are not in a position to persuade the player or his advisers to reconsider his options. With Edinson Cavani out of contract and likely to leave at the end of the season and Cristiano Ronaldo 37 next month, United are focusing on other options to solve their search for a proven goal scorer. ESPN reported in December that Real are attempting to sign both Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer, although the LaLiga champions face strong competition from Manchester City for Haaland, who will command wages of £30m-a-year at whichever club he decides to join. But despite City's interest and ability to compete with any financial package presented to Haaland by Real, the Premier League champions lag behind favourites Real in the battle to sign the Norway international. The turmoil at Old Trafford has severely damaged United's prospects of signing Haaland, although sources have said that the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager in November -- Solskjaer gave Haaland his debut at Molde -- has not contributed to the team's diminishing hopes. Sources said that although the Haaland camp are admirers of the work done by United interim manager Ralf Rangnick at previous clubs, the prospect of signing for United while they remain in a period of transition, and potentially out of the Champions League, has made the 20-time English champions an unappealing proposition considering the other teams in the race to sign Haaland. United know that Haaland does not see them as a viable option in the present circumstances and are focusing on the recruitment of a permanent manager rather than devoting time to the pursuit of a player who favours a move elsewhere.
  5. that high??? I wouldn't think it was that high but I may well be wrong idiots!
  6. he is likely permanently off any lists of mine Barcelona winger Ansu Fati is reduced to tears after coming off with another injury setback in Copa del Rey loss to Athletic Bilbao... after the teenage winger thought he had put a horror 18 months on the treatment table behind him https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10426721/Barcelona-winger-Ansu-Fati-reduced-tears-coming-injury-setback.html
  7. Thomas Tuchel fears Chelsea will face 'huge consequences' if his unvaccinated stars are denied entry into France for their Champions League tie with Lille... but the Blues boss insists players are free to make their own choices https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10429009/Thomas-Tuchel-fears-Chelsea-face-huge-consequences-unvaccinated-stars-denied-entry-Lille.html
  8. If we are buying a teen UK LB, would MUCH prefer Aaron Hickey he has been tearing up Serie A at Bologna at only 19yo bigger, stronger, pacier
  9. yes, been mentioning him for years
  10. Tammy on 15 goals now 5 in last 6 league games lol
  11. 2021-22 English Carabao Cup, Semifinals Arsenal Liverpool http://www.sportnews.to/sports/2022/capital-one-cup-arsenal-vs-liverpool-s1/ https://www.totalsportek.com/football/efl/arsenal-vs-liverpool-2nd-leg-match/
  12. would love to see is grab Borna Sosa of Stuttgart as well, for LWB 1.87m, 24yo (in 3 and half hours), wand of a left foot 19 assists and 3 goals in last 4500 minutes of play for a shit club and a good national side (Croatia) he is like a more pacey Alonso, great change-up from Chilwell (when he returns next season)
  13. My best guess is Spuds. Conte likes Carlos.
  14. I posted an extensive list (quelle surprise, lol) of his injuries
  15. I cannot believe that some here are trying to sell the bollocks that Pulisic is not injury prone over the course of his career 😜
  16. ship him to the headchopper-owned Geordies!
  17. St. Pauli may be promoted to the Bundesliga!!!! 2. BUNDESLIGA
  18. are not his wage demands INSANE? like £692K PW insane? plus a crazy signing bonus in the tens of millions? even if you reduce that wage by two thirds it is still £228K PW, which would be £70-80m in wages and signing bonus (if £10 to 20m) over 5 years! meanwhile Theo will cost AC Milan only around £16.2m over 5 years in wages (this season plus 4 more) Even if you toss in a full year's new salary as a renewal bonus (which may not even be the case) it is only £19.9m in toto FFS
  19. this seems to me to be the most viable option, as he is semi ambipedal (per presenters on La Liga TV on multiple occasions, and also via my own eyes), and can play both sides for fullback I am just gutted if Theo renews with AC Milan (and it is 97% plus done, ffs, until 2026 at triple his current salary) I know I am a whingey bint about him (and also, until he went to PSG, Hakimi) but FFS, wingbacks are so damn key for us The figures of the renewal of Theo Hernández The aforementioned Italian media, which stands out for its information on the Rossoneri team, reports that the left back will receive 4.5 million euros per season (his current record is 1.5 million euros per year) and will extend his bond in San Siro until June 30, 2026. A shield that will keep away all the teams that have shown interest in it in recent months. Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are the two teams that have shown the most interest in recent months for Theo Hernández, who was interested in making a leap in quality, but who has made the decision to stay due to the relevance that he has in the AC Milan project and for the growth of the team, which is fighting for the Serie A title with Inter Milan. The renewal will close the exit doors to another club in the short term, unless an offer of more than 100 million euros arrives. Or the player himself makes the decision to ask for his departure in the coming years. FFS! he NEW pay rate is only £72K PW!!!! we could have BLOWN that away easily
  20. 11 days motherfuckers!!! (speaking to the Chels board) please do NOT fuck our season up! we still have decent to great shots at FOUR more trophies
  21. Dembele cost around £55m MORE (t-fee and add-ons) in todays pounds, LOLOL Lukaku was £95.7m (as we got £1.8m back in a good faith fee from previous deal) so £96.83m today with 6 months inflation Dembele was £135.5m in fees and add-ons, which is now (crazy inflation over past 4.5 years) £151.88m in today's quid!!!
