Hopefully on a flight to Spain, never to be seen playing in Chelsea blue.

Which ones though? Rb is set. Cm/cam has jorginho, kova, Kante. Rlc yet to come and gilmour and Gallagher might be able to take a step up. Wingers we have Cho, puli, willian. A Sancho type player (100mil expense) would mean an automatic starter. Same goes for ST. Tammy has earned a starting position for the next year. I see a lot of posts saying we need 3-4 big players which seems heavily exaggerated. This is not a squad of 26+ players. It's a young squad which will get better on its own. Tammy, Reece, Cho, puli, mount will get better which will improve the team too. My only buys would be a LB (selling Alonso) and a 2nd striker/competition for tammy. While keeping the core same, and selling Alonso, Pedro, Barkley, giroud, batshuayi from the current squad and baka, Baker, miazga, baba, drink water, Zappa, etc from the loan army

I would start to rotate now. Pulisic, jorginho, kova have now played how many consecutive games? I would rest pulisic and kovacic (as jorginho is suspended for the next PL game). Kepa Azpi zouma tomori Emerson Kante jorginho Willian mount CHO Tammy
-
Exactly this. All it takes is a couple of games for these "fans" to label a player as "not good enough". Before last season RLC was not "good enough". 2 games into the season, Tammy was not just good enough, he was a championship level striker. Now it's CHO. The same people who want a change of identity of a young, energetic team, don't have a dime worth of patience to even afford them a month's time. No probkem though, in the end, it's the same people who come out looking like idiots.

That's your opinion. If it was the other way around, with pulisic/willian stealing the ball and the opposition defender/midfielder making such a contact as jorginho made 4/5/6 yards away from goal, I (and I am willing to bet 99% of the people on here) would be screaming bloody murder for a pen. Case in point - Just last week, CHO went down under minimal contact and most on here thought it was a pen. All he had was a hand on his back. Accept it or refuse it. Again that's your opinion. With VAR, it is going to be difficult for defenders inside their own box.
-
I did not like him one bit. His last season was poor. So was his RM time. But man, he has been brilliant so far. When Kante got injured post the super cup, I was fucking shit my pants. But the way kova has taken his chance. He has been a joy to watch. The way he plays the ball out and can carry it the length of the field. Now if he can add 5 goals and 5 assists, I don't think there will be a better thing. Well done kova, keep it up
-
I don't get the VAR hate. It was a pen. A soft one, but a pen. It was our mistake. All in all. Good game. Brilliant win. Keep it up lads Ps- Emerson starting this game confirmed what I thought. That caraboa game was way way way down in Frank's priority list. This game was miles higher and we played the team corresponding.
-
Any videos of the goal. Missing the game.
-
Hahahahhahaha.
-
Kepa Reece zouma tomori azpi Jorginho kova Willian mount puli Tammy Absolutely no point playing Alonso. I would play azpi as a LB. The rest of the team almost picks itself. Will be a hard encounter but I expect to win it. Come on Chelsea.

"we are over- acheiving" in October, "we have not won a big game" - we won away to Ajax, man some "fans" are really so fair weather, it's unbelievable.
-
Over reaction as always on here. A so-so performance. United kind of have our number with a wall behind the ball. Cho, puli, bats were abysmal. Alonso and Pedro were levels of shit. Even in an overall poor show, Reece still showed his promise and quality, couple of great crosses and really good defending. Considering how thin we are as of this moment, not the worst thing to be out of this tournament. So that's kind of a silver lining. Overall a poor evening, but I will take that result. We have bigger things to fight for and acheive.
-
So basically Pedro, michy, Emerson, Reece, gilmour, guehi are a lock in
-
I think zouma has been brilliant since andreas' injury. I had so many doubts on him at the start of the season, but you can see how well he is progressing. Playing out the back, those cross field balls to Alonso, even driving into the mid.
-
I think his Newcastle performance was brilliant.
-
I think the USP of this team is meritocracy. What if mbappe had a so-so outing against ajax, would frank have been able to drop him for pulisic without an uproar? I like the Dynamics of this squad. It's a squad of young hard working players with a fair few who have potential to be world class (puli, Cho, maybe Reece) and the rest a tier below ( mount, RLC, Tammy, tomori, Andreas). The worst thing that can happen to this squad is ego. I just don't want players with ego here. I am willing to wait 3 years rather than 1, and see this same core win us some big thibgs. That said, if we are able to find gems like Kante, I would love it.
-
Not everyone. Infact a select few only, but I think some of them are the most voluminous posters. Specially when related to anything with transfers.
-
Good game. Was industrious as always. But given how puli, CHO and willian have performed, won't be surprised if those 3 start behind tammy soon.
-
Willy Reece guehi Rudi Emerson Gilmour jorginho Pedro pulisic CHO Michy Don't think jorginho can be rested as we hardly have any options. Willian, mount, tammy, kova, azpi, Alonso deserve a night of rest for sure.
-
Did not play particularly well in the 1st half, but pulisic's brilliance made sure that we went 2-0 up. The first 35 minutes of the 2nd half we were brilliant. After which I thought kova and jorginho were gassed, which is totally understandable. Zouma was immense yet again winning everything In the air. Tomori came into the game in the 2nd half. Kova was absolutely class. Pulisic seems to have got back his confidence, and made all the difference. All in all, brilliant for the team and now let's make it 8, out of 8.
-
If we actually sell any of our current 4 CBs (which I dont think we will), I would personally want Ake. He would be exactly the kind of ball playing CB Frank's system would require.
-
A bit harsh on RLC, i feel. His finishing is brilliant, ball shielding and carrying 2nd to none in the squad. And will provide something which I feel we lack in the middle of the pitch: Physicality and Height. I do agree that Lamps will fit in both. Will be very interesting.
-
Kepa Reece Zouma Tomori Emerson Kova Jorginho Puli Mount CHO Tammy That would be my starting 11. Burnley away is never easy, specially after a tough CL away game. I still think we can make it 7 in 7.
-
WHAT A WIN!!!! Brilliant. The match was exciting too though the quality in final 3rd was poor from both the teams. This team is so good, without a superstar, and thats what makes this such a brilliant thing. Kepa - Hardly troubled. A very poor pass which could have cost us though. 6/10 Alonso - Have not ever said this, but he was very good defensively. Offensively, a little lacking. Got himself in a good position couple of times, only to screw it up. 7/10 Tomori - I have been all for Tomori. He is young, he will make mistakes, but , and this is a massive BUT, he should also be learning from them. A mistake every game, and all of them same/similar. Has to stop making those, has to cut it out. 6/10 Zouma - Rock solid. Laughable that people want to sell him. He is improving game after game. His on the ball play is improving exponentially. His crossfield passes to alonso are good too. And 1v1, he is our best defender. 8/10 Azpi - What a performance, MOTM for me. I honestly had thought that Reece will displace him, but Azpi has really come back up again. 9/10 Jorginho - A very close 2nd MOTM for me. Controlls the mid. You can give him the ball surrounded by 5 players, but his awareness is so good, he will still find a way to retain the ball. Brilliant 9/10 Kovacic - Another stellar performance. He is proving me wrong, and how? Need to continue this. 8/10 Willian - An absolute shocker. Could not retain the ball, every oppurtunity he had to run at the opposition LB, he failed. Just one of those days for him, where everything that he tried to do, went wrong. 4/10 Mount - Industrious, Defensively astute. Made the right runs, Linked the play up well. He is a quality quality player. 8/10 CHO - after the last game, where he looked mature beyond his years in the final 3rd, this game was the polar opposite. So poor in the final 3rd. When he should have gone on the outside and cut back the ball to tammy/mount, he tried to go in and take a shot. When he should have come in, he went to the by line. Such a weird performance. Still was our only outlet in the 1st half. He will learn a lot from this night, hopefully. 5/10 Tammy - Had a hard night, Not much of a service when both the wingers had a shocker. Still linked play up well, kept the CBs honest. Closed down the play. 7/10 Subs: Pulisic - Brilliant performance. His close control is amazing. I feel he has played himself in for the weekend. 2 brilliant sub performances, should merit him a start. Way to go boy. 9/10 Michy - Missed a sitter, should have passed the ball to reece at the end to make it an easy 2-0, but also got the winner. We can see where he struggles which is his link up play. Nonetheless, a good 2nd option. 7/10 Lamps - You can see how well the team is working and thats a 2nd away game in CL where his subs have been perfectly spot on (CHO for Reece against Lille and Puli for willy today). Just brilliant from Super frank.

Perfect team. Now let's get a win. Come on Chelsea.
