We need a good free kick taker ... Drogba and Lampard are old and Malouda is probably going to Juve. I hope Mata is good in dead ball situations beacuse if he isn't we need a player like Sneijder or Pjanič who can shoot a free kick and also pass from corner.

I would like us to get Juan Mata and Hulk. The attacking line-up would look like this : Mata - Torres - Hulk Zhirkov - Drogba - Sturridge Anelka & Kalou OUT if we get Hulk and Malouda OUT if we get Mata ... if we get both than all 3 can leave. Next year Drogba can retire and we can buy Lukaku (or we can buy him now and loan him for one year).

The only player I like from Milan is Pato but we don't need strikers so they have nothing to offer us for Essien. But I think he will stay because he seems very happy at Chelsea and after some bad months he is showing good performances.

I started to watch football around 98-99 but in my country I could only watch national games and Champions League so I watched all the matches of my country (Slovenia) and the matches that they showed of CL. I didn't really cheer for anyone but I liked Real Madrid and Juventus because of players like Figo, Ronaldo, Trezeguet, Davids, Nedved and some others. Usually I start to like the team because of a certain player and I watched alot of games of Crespo & Drogba a season before they went to Chelsea and then started watching Chelsea in Champions League. A year or two later I could watch EPL games on my TV and i realised I really like Chelsea so since then I watched almost every game they play and they are the first team I really cheer for.

Our midfield is playing very bad ... Lamps, Essien and also Ramires can keep the ball for 10 seconds, they can't pass for shit and are just awful overall. Torres and Drogba are trying and have created chances for themselves but distribution for midfield just isn't there. I would put Mikel and Anelka in and play with 4-3-3 and try to play more offensively.

I really don't understand some people ... we just bought Torres for 50 million and he is suppose to be our main striker and you still want another striker ?? I was all for getting Lukaku before we got Torres but now I don't think we need him. If we are going to play with 4-3-3 we desperately need a right winger but definitely not a striker because Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge and even Kalou can play there. We need a player like Alexis Sanchez or Hulk, we don't need another target man because I don't think Torres and Lukaku could play well together even if we stay with 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2. We also need a player who can play in CAM role and in few years replace Lampard and I think a player like Marek Hamšik would fit in well. I don't think Josh is ready to take this postion for at least 3-4 years and Carlo plays him in DM role so it doesn't really matter. I would buy van der Wiel only if we sell Bosingwa, otherwise I would keep Bosingwa here for another year. Did we buy the wrong Lucas ?? :mellow: This Brazillian team has amazing talent and great potential ... can you imagine a team with Luiz, Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Ramires, Sandro, Ganso, Neymar, Lucas, Pato in 3-4 years when they are all in their prime and playing a home world cup Like someone said this summer we must buy a young, fast and skillful winger/2nd striker ... I don't care if it's Aguero, Sanchez, Neymar, Lucas, Navas or Young but we desperately need a player who can make a difference with one move or one solo run.
