We wasted so much money on these foreign talents it seems we've forgotten about our own. Even Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal seem to have put more faith towards their youth players.

We have Eto'o here for 1 year for a reason. Most important thing for Lukaku is his development and progression as a player. People look at MoTD see his goals and think he's Drogba/George Weah MK2 when in reality he's still incredibly raw. His first touch is frustratingly inconsistent, he needs to learn how to play with his back to goal and his link up play still needs work A loan where they play the ball on the ground and the strikers are required to get involved in the build up play will do wonders for his game and he'll return as a much better player next season. Last season WBA were a counter attacking team that just hoofed the ball to him and prayed, primitive tactics that hardly helped his all round game. Just hope we have an option of recalling him in January in case he does even better than expected and Torres/Ba and Sammy flop. Mourinho wouldn't send him out on loan if he didn't think Eto'o could still do the business. I hope so anyway can't be too sure with him anymore after the Willian/Schurrle signings and the Mata ostracism.

Actually that's the smartest decision the club can make. Everton play the style of football we play and he'd be first choice over there. Sturridge was ready after the Bolton loan I'm still not convinced Lukaku is. Another year of development would be huge for him.

Lets just say if we don't win the treble this season, half the fans will turn on Mourinho if Mata is sold. Mourinho fanboys will agree with any decision he makes of course but you can exclude me from that group.

The only glaring problem on our team is our CM area. That's why we've been dominated by any decent team out there. Hull had more possession than us the other ffs. People keep crying over DM's and strikers but that's our major weakness in my opinion. That and are offensively challenged fullbacks. Agreed. Van Ginkel could potentially be that player though. I'd like to see him given a go.

He's a brilliant ball winner. People continue to underestimate him because of his build but he constantly makes more challenges than any other player in the team in nearly every game. Oscar is better than Lampard in everything apart from goal scoring at the moment. Why couldn't he replace him.

We have a squad good enough to win the League that's why. Rather than stockpiling players why not give the players we've got a go. All it takes its some tactical innovation and trust. Lampard would be on loan to Liverpool or Arsenal this year if we bought the 21 year old version last season.

DM's are overrated. Just play Oscar in the damn pivot and pair him with whoever can make a challenge. Move Mata back into the #10 spot.

Similar players but Ozil has the ability to dribble past players and is faster. Mata on the other hand can actually last the full 90 minutes and is a better goalscorer. Both are in my Top 2 with Ozil at the top of that ranking.

In all their big games when they aren't rotating players Rosicky has played #10 with Cazorla on the left. And he's even more influential coming off from the left side with the freedom to drift. He averaged more goals + assists per game last season from that position. Matter of fact he's never really played as a #10 throughout his career. He was deployed out in a similar position whether out right at both Valencia and Villarreal where was Pellegrini was the manager. Ozil is the best attacking midfielder in the World. It's a no brainer.

Have a hard time believing Liverpool bid only £25m for Mata. They aren't idiots.
