What are you on about? It was one of the most one sided games you'll ever see.
-
Believe it or not you don't have to blindly agree with every decision the club/manager makes. It's the f**king Carling Cup against a pub team not the CL final. I don't see why 1/2 youngsters couldn't have been given a chance tonight.
-
Annoyed Baker didn't get a chance tonight. For someone who claims he's here for the long term it was a shocking decision not to give him minutes tonight. Must be frustrating for any young player hoping to make it at Chelsea. You simply don't get chances here, this bs loan system isn't fooling anyone. Stockpiling youngsters and farming them out to obscure countries or the Lower leagues does fuck all for their development.
-
Hasn't taken any of his chances at all this season.
-
Either we have some very low IQ players or the squad depth is having a negative impact on the team, too many playing for themselves rather than the team tonight. Torres the only one up for it tonight.

What a selfish bastard. Disgusting.
-
Get Baker on.
-
Essien, De Bruyne, Mata and Willian have all been shocking. Very disappointed.
-
Obviously Luiz.

I seriously despise modern football. Can you give the manager more than 5 games before you start turning on him? He's constantly stated he's here for the long term. He could have continued the tactics we've been using for the last 3-4 years and tweaked it here and there but he's acknowledged it doesn't work long term and is building a new system. He's decided he's going to build the team around the player with the most potential & highest potential on the team which he's identified as Oscar, deal with it.
-
Why are people acting like playing out wide is beneath him? He played that position in Valencia up until the year Silva left and did so under AVB during his first season here. Similar level of players like Isco, Cazorla, Silva etc also play on the flanks. Tactically, physically and defensively is the far better better option in the middle. He simply offers the balance Mata can't give us. Didn't agree with him dropping Mata from the squad entirely but if this 'tough love' treatment finally gets Mata to participate in defending so be it. I expect him to dominate on Wednesday and start against Spurs.
-
Thankfully Mourinho finally touched upon Hazard's woeful movement. He always receives the ball with his back to goal or when surrounded by 2/3 defenders. Of course part of the problem is the poor support from Cole and the snails pace at which we play but he simply doesn't do himself any favours either.
-
Ivanovic was our best player. Still not convinced he should be starting with a more natural RB in the squad but very good performance from him today, Ash on the other hand....... Oscar was very good in spurts. Shut up the critics.
-
Can't believe Mikel scored. Hardest I've cheered a goal since Torres at the Nou Camp. Speaking of Torres is there still any doubt we play better with him on the pitch? Unlucky not to score on that header. Still a lot of problems with the team but 3 points will relieve the pressure off the squad and manager for now.
-
The pivot and fullbacks are the main problem. Ashley Cole is useless offensively and Ivanovic is not much better. Ramires poor distribution is also shocking. Torres, KDB and Willian on for Eto'o, Hazard and Ramires. Oscar in the pivot & KDB in the hole.
-
Starting to believe there's something in the Spanish conspiracy. Torres dropped after scoring against Bayern while Eto'o gets three consecutive starts despite going goalless, Azpi can't buy a game and Mata can't even make the bench.
-
Everyone knows Oscar will be better than Mata in a couple of years maybe even sooner but there's no way that's the case right now. Mata will be surely be gone before the next window now it seems. A player of his calibre deserves to start and with the talent competing with him for a spot on the plane to the World Cup he can't be a bit part player.
-
Wilshere is a B2B midfielder, McEachran is a controller.
-
Thank f***king God. After Ross Barkley's torrid time in the Championship last season and what the lad has done this year I'm not writing Josh off yet Like I did earlier. He was playing LW for the majority of last season and the Championship isn't the best place for technical midfielders like him. A loan where he'll play in midfield under a manager who plays on the ground will do a world of good for him.
-
Blame Emenalo and his cronies. Stockpiling players for no reason other than preventing other clubs from buying them seems to be biting us in the arse. Rather than developing our own like Arsenal have done with the likes of Walcott, Gibbs, Ramsey, Wilshere, Jenkinson along with the majority of the top sides in Europe at the moment we just buy players for the sake of it regardless of whether they fit in the team or not. Rather than bringing in Schurrle, Van Ginkel, Willian etc. the money could have been spent on a fullbacks, a proper midfielder and strikers. A couple of academy players could have been promoted instead or give a chance to the 20+ players we have on loan.
-
Cech Azpi Cahill JT Cole Mikel Oscar De Bruyne Mata Willian Torres
-
For some reason the only two decent performances this season have come with him starting yet he's been dropped since Bayern. Weird.
-
Hazard should have went off instead. Decent debut.
-
He better start against Fulham. Enough of Ivanovic for now. He actually makes overlapping runs and would probably have taken advantage of Basel giving him the freedom of the pitch.
