Pre-December Oscar is several levels above. The only skill Willian beats him at is his ball carrying ability but even that's pretty redundant with the 2nd best in the World playing on the left & Pedro proving he's more than adequate for that role out on the opposite flank.

Nothing to do with being passive. He always starts the season slow. Give it a couple of weeks & we'll see him at his absolute best. His "passiveness" is why we didn't drop points today. You act like any of our players excluding the defenders are great against the "good" teams. Hazard's usually the only one really.

Give it a rest with the OTT criticism. He was the 2nd biggest factor in us winning the League last season. He's started the season poorly but he isn't the only one. Fact is we brought him in because he's the 2nd most creative passer of the ball after Messi, he's key to us breaking down parked buses.

There's more space for him to exploit in the Premier League. At Barca/Spain he faces parked buses every week. That's no exaggeration either. No surprise a player like Sanchez for example creative/dribbling stats skyrocketed at Arsenal compared to his Barca days.
