Why exactly are you guys getting annoyed at Martinez having the audacity in wanting to keep one of his best if not his best player? The world doesn't revolve around Chelsea believe it or not. Either we overpay like Man City did for Sterling or keep it moving. Everton have no incentive to sell for under £30m especially when his transfer fee is only going to continually increase. Some of you some incredibly entitled like United fans. The club making the deal public has definitely backfired and only resulted in pissing off Everton. Unless Stones forces a move through expect a bidding war between City, United which will eventually price us out next summer. £50m wouldn't be entirely unrealistic.

I'd disagree. Kroos, Busquets, Alonso, Motta & Mascherano are all great in possession. No one's saying he has to be Roy of the Rovers but I wish he was more accurate with his passing & released the ball earlier like Makelele. He gets caught on the ball far too much for a DM.

That's the sort of fee you pay for an experienced defender. Rahman has only really had one great season for a small club & is still a relatively unknown quality. I'm definitely not going to pretend I've watched him live but that seems highly steep to me. Hopefully he's more Varane/Carvajal than Phil Jones. Hope we get Stones done as well.

Biggest myth in football right now. Silva is easy on the eye but Yaya Toure and Aguero are the main men in that team. The most decisive and impactful players. City's results without Toure last season. Now City without their "most important player" which they would be a shambles without. As you can see they barely missed a beat without him. Silva is a very good player but he's massively overrated by PL fans because of his obvious & attractive playing style. The criticisms usually leveled at Hazard should be aimed at Silva instead. I'd take about 7/8 #10's before I chose SIlva (and no Oscar isn't in there).

Nah, Yaya Toure & Aguero are their most important players. Look at how bad they were this season without Toure in form for most of the year.

RIbery yes. I feel you're massively overrating Silva & Cazorla though. Very good players but not in the same League.
