I think it's safe to say this is his preference. And as long as the majority of the fans don't mind, which is clearly the case, he'll continue to do so. Real has different demands.

I'm sorry, I don't see how celebrating against your former team is disrespectful. If anything, acting like you're not happy is the annoying part (not that I care tbh).
-
Not celebrating against your former team is fake nonsense anyway. Not celebrating 'out of respect' for your old team... You scored a goal. You're happy. Celebrate. I hope Fabregas runs around the entire pitch if he ever scores against Arsenal.
-
He hasn't and I wonder if he will. I wouldn't put it past him to do it though. Mourinho reminds me of Capello. And once upon a time, Capello was one of the very best.
-
That's what I was thinking. So if true, it's not surprising Mou's impact on football has diminished.
-
Bar Ferguson, can somebody help me come up with names of managers to book succes for 10+/15+ years? Even Ferguson could not impress as he did domestically on the European stage.
-
He's the exact same manager. And that's the problem. Outdated.
-
It's not the loss. This is football. You win some, you lose some. But it's the way I saw my favourite team play today. As someone else already put it, that was soul crushing. It's not the first time either.
-
My feelings exactly. Looked like Stoke today. I have to be honest, Mou is killing me with his approach.

10 men.

Agree with you on a poor first half but PSG were poor as well, didn't think they looked like scoring at all. Both sides look decent in midfield and mess everything up in the final third. Shocking passing in the final third on display tonight. 2 shots from both sides, hardly threatening either. Please don't sit back. They're playing with 10 men at The Bridge. Score a goal and finish them.

Yeah, not comparable as players at all. Essien was a super athlete and a absolute powerhouse, tactically very clever as well. Still amazes me how powerful he was with his 5ft10/5ft11 frame. He was like a little building. Great personality as well. Such a shame his time at the top was cut short due to injuries.
-
That's why I meant by fulfilling his potential of course. I don't know about him running the midfield and controlling the game though. He's not that type of player imo (unless you and I don't share the same definition of controlling the midfield). Lampard for example was never that kind of player but he's a legendary player, in his own way. I see Pogba more as someone who has what it takes to become a great individual, standing out with certain exceptional qualities and with the ability to pop up with decisive moments. Not a playmaker or a midfield general, who will make others around him look better. And he'll always need a free-ish role I think, in that sense he's like Lamps. Basically continuing what he's doing right now, but growing in his decision-making and refining his technique as he ages. His first touch for example is still too hit and miss for me. At times absolutely brilliant, other times very sloppy. He has real potential in his passing as well, but that's also a bit too sloppy. Comes with being 21. Still can't believe he's only 21.
-
True. But he really is a special talent though. I hope he continues to improve and fulfills his awesome potential, wherever he ends up. One thing's for sure though, the world of football has a successor to Ibra. A player capable of scoring the type of goals you would fantasize about as a child on a consistent basis.

My all-time favourite Chelsea game. Even though it was an opposition goal, Ronaldinho's strike absolutely blew me away.
-
Mo is on fire. Good for him. I never thought he was good enough for Chelsea, not as a starter, and I said so before he signed, but he's a decent player. Always thought he received too much stick. It's always hard to make an impact playing as little and inconsistently as he did, so I could never fault him much for failing to contribute. His form at Fiorentina could lead to a very nice fee in the summer. Don't see the point of him returning, since he's obviously not rated highly enough.
-
Watching it again only confirms my initial feeling. That was a goal.
-
That's weird. I'd say him not shooting after a poor game would be the expected move from a non-striker. I haven't read the comments but I don't know why you would take such comments seriously. Hazard was the best outfield player on the pitch today and scored the winning goal.
-
That was the moment of the game for me. How did he even do that? Such composure, balance and skill. That's something that won't show up in stats. Hazard's the best thing to happen in Chelsea colours in a long, long time for me.
-
What does Hazard's contribution in the match have anything to do with that specific moment? And if anything, a strong performance should give you the confidence to put that in. I thought Hazard was going to score tbh. For me, a player should always shoot in such a situation. But I don't care since I'm already over it.
-
Players should always shoot in such a position. That was a brilliant pass by Cesc and he wasn't put under pressure by a defender. What he did is called passing the ball into the goal. Ozil would often do that at Real. You might score, you might not score, but just take the shot. It has nothing to do with criticism him. It was just strange to see him pass.
-
Hazard shied away from responsibility at the end there. Should've taken the shot. He was very good today though. WHU played really well. They were unlucky not to score. Credit to them. 3 points. Unlucky not to score a second, but that didn't matter in the end. Some good attacking play today, but defensively all over the place. But again, WHU were really good today.
-
Not to mention the fact Hazard does not even come close to Robben and Bale in terms of shooting ability.
-
That's strange. I've seen Oscar play some fantastic passes. He's also covering a lot for Ramires and Cesc going forward. Don't think he's in an attacking role today. Not saying he's been amazing but more than solid.
