im a striker i score goals for fun!!!

the way i see it Torres needs players around him who can move the ball quickly and play defense splitting passes! we have those type of players now with Mata, Meireles and Sturridge. So i want to see Torres playing with these guys and if he still cant score goals with them around him then we would need to get rid of him, but i feel when he does start playing with them the goals will come! and plenty of them as well!!

those kind of comments can only be a good thing for us, they will motivate our players like in the 09/10 season fergie came out and said we were to old then to win the league, with players like Ballack, Carvalho, Deco, J.Cole, Belletti but what happened we won the double! Man u were not exactly young last season were they with players lie van der sar, ferdinand, neville, scholes, giggs, berbatov ect! and what happened they won the PL and got to the CL final! so these kind of comments are not only ridicuous but good for us. if Man u want to write us off then its alot better for us! Our players and Manager know we are more than capable to win the league and as soon as we start putting in some good performances i gaurantee everyone on here will believe Chelsea will win the league! if we go out and batter Sunderland like last season at their place, and then go and win at old trafford then i would like to see who would be writing us off then!

Of course we can win the league! I have been shocked by how many people think we cant win it this year??? i find it crazy that people think we dont even have a small chance to win the league! but i guess thats how football fans are, people think that because the Manchester clubs have started off the season by scoring goals for fun and winning with ease (like we did last season) they think they will do that for the whole season! and just because we haven't been convincing at home to Norwich and West brom people think we are going to struggle to beat those teams all season! to me thats just laughable! both Manchester clubs will go through bad patches this season no doubt! you cant play at the intensity they are playing at for an entire season, they will soon run out of steam! whereas us we have got off to a very steady start to the season! not very impressive but still getting results, if we can keep this up for another month of two just doing enough to win games and hand put a couple of real beatings as well and then around end of November/start of December should be when we come into our championship form where we can start battering all teams! im going to predict for once that Chelsea will have a great Christmas period and hardly drop a point throughout Dec/Jan as thats the time of year when usually we are awful but this year the way we have started makes me think thats when we can hit our peak! and where the Manchester clubs start going through a bad patch! We have so much strength in depth now as well, which is something we lacked last season, i feel we can run away with the league this year, Man City will struggle to compete in both CL and PL also all they need is one injury to Silva and they are finished! yes they have more creative players but Silva makes them tick and is their most important attacking player. and United the thing which makes them so strong is the fact that basically every team in the league apart from us, City and Liverpool are soo scared of them! any other team who gets into a position against Man U where they are winning or drawing going into the final 10-20 minutes will be thinking 'its only a matter of time before they score' and this is going to be a big problem for us! once teams realise that they are capable of beating Man U then the better that will be for Chelsea, thats why we really need to lead from the front this season and make sure we stay there! I fully believe we are more than capable to Win our Title back for sure! anyone else who doesnt is either getting carried away with the Manchester clubs starts this season or just believe and actually listen to all the rubbish the so called football experts say about Chelsea, Man U and Man CIty.

calm down! so your basically contradicting yourself? If you think we are just going to stick Mata on the wing and tell him to just get on with it then you are mistaken! Mata will surely get the freedom to drift from left to right and through the middle! thats the only way to get the best out of him, he may even start matches in the middle playing behind the strikers!

What??? we bought in Juan Mata who is one of the best creative midfielders in the country! and also Raul Meireles who is a box to box midfielder who can also create chances! we now have more than enough creativity in the team to feed the strikers! Im baffled by that comment!

I really want to see Drogba and Torres start together in the same team as Mata and Meireles, as I feel that partnership will have much better chance of working with those two playing behind them. If it still can't work with two quality creative players behind them then Drogba and Torres should never start together again. no he cant! Ribery is a winger, he never plays in between the lines! he maybe could play there as he is a quality player, but i doubt he would do any good there, it would be like putting Malouda in that role, just not his positon. Ribery is best at playing on the left wing and cutting inside not sitting behind strikers trying to play through balls!

well Modric and Ribery are two completley different players, so i dont know how you can say Ribery is better? as a creative midfielder Modric is obviously better, as a winger Ribery is better!

Crystal Palace FC Bromley FC Coney Hall FC (i used to play for them) and there is a new semi pro team starting up about 5 minutes from me, which i will be joining!!!

thats a bit disrespectful! telling him to coach the youth team then work his way up! he has already managed in the premier league so he has some experience under his belt, he would never want to come here and coach youth/reserve teams imo because he is better than that! he managed the italy u-21 and west ham so why does he need to coach youth teams?

Subs - Begovich, Ivanovich, Alex, Mikel, Lampard, Drogba, Sturridge i'd say Lampard should be used like how man u use scholes next season, just play him everyother week or just bring him on in matches, we should try out Drogba and torres in pre-season if it works then great, we would have to play 4-4--2 next season, if not then we need to bring someone in some skillful quick forwards i think to play either side of Torres or Drogba.

im not saying he is a bad buy, just put him in as i dont think any deserve to be put down as worst buy, so he got the short straw i guess

i think chelsea can win the champions league because we have stuggled when teams play very defensive tactics against us with two banks of four and stopping us playing then catching us on the break, but in the champions league knock out rounds you have to be more adventurous and attack teams and i think this could play into chelsea's hands with torres and his excellent movement playing on the shoulder of the last defender and Drogba with his power and ariel threat i can see us going all the way this year.

i have absolutley no worries about nando his movement is top class and its only a matter of time until he starts scoring, im 100% sure he will be a success at chelsea no doubts in my mind at all. exactly how i felt about Drogba in his first few seasons, he will be fine and will win many trophies at chelsea starting with this season!!! :champions:

Yes you read that right I still dont think we are out of it yet maybe not unitil March 7th anyway. In case you dont know Man united's next four games are all tough/tricky games, they are: Saturday, 12 February 2011 Man Utd v Man City Saturday, 26 February 2011 Wigan v Man Utd Tuesday, 1 March 2011 Chelsea v Man Utd Sunday, 6 March 2011 Liverpool v Man Utd whereas during this period of time Chelsea face Fulham (a), Man. u (h) and Blackpool (a) three games in which Chelsea can and must get 9 points from. All those games are tough games for united and I think they will drop points in three or four of those games. below i have put some senario's that have a relativley good chance to actually happen (if chelsea win there next three games) Senario 1 - A quite realistic and almost perfect senario for us would be for united to lose against Citeh, Chelsea and Liverpool and draw with Wigan (which is very possible based on the way they have played away from home this season) this would put us 1 point behind them with a game in hand, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 2 - if they beat Wigan and lose the other three it puts them 4 points ahead of us with chelsea having a game in hand to put it down to 1 point, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 3 - if they win two and lose against us and one other then it would put them 7 points ahead of us with chelsea having a game in hand to put it down to 4 points, and still having to face them at old trafford. Senario 4 - if they beat us or win at least three of those games then I think its over. I haven't even bothered maiking a senario where they lose all four because that would just be 'dreamland' for us. Also of course Citeh and Arsenal are still above us but I am not worried about Citeh as we have a game in hand over them and still have to face them at the bridge, so I think we will finish above them, and Arsenal always seem to bottle it and drop silly points, but for me Arsenal will be the hardest to catch as they have a easier next few games but Arsenal being Arsenal can always drop points when no on expects it (ask newcastle), and finally of course for us to have any chance we must go on a winning streak and win our next 5 or 6 games in a row because if we do that we will be very close to the top because I know the teams above us will drop points. Everyone just keep the faith, by around 10pm on March 7th we will know then if we have a real chance to win the league, trust me. KTBFFH
