My guess is 1st half - Turnbull Ferreira - Cahill - Luiz - A.Cole Essien - Lampard Ramires - Hazard - De Bruyne Lukaku After the changes - Cech Chalobah - Hutchinson - Ivanovic - Malouda Mikel - Mceachran Benayoun - Marin - Kakuta Piazon
-
I expect Malouda to get some minutes in this game! which will be one of his last games in a blue shirt!
-
whats the point of experimenting with Benayoun! last season he was our best player in pre-season and look what good that done him! and this season we have even more creative players! he has no future at this club! he should just be using pre-season with Chelsea to get fit ready for his new club.

Haven't you realized how bored people are of hearing the same crap over and over again! Its pointless! And who is this 'y'all' your referring to because I'm certainly not one of them!
-
Zzzzzzzzz here we go same old rubbsih again! BORING!!!
-
Posts like this are just so boring and embarrassing to read! dont people ever get tired of constantly repeating the same rubbish over and over again! Torres is no where near as bad as what people on here make out, He also hasn't done as well as what people make out, he hasn't been awful at Chelsea and he hasn't been great! Next season will end all arguments once and for all, as the service will be there for him! and he doesn't have Drogba to worry about either! so if he doesn't produce next season then he will have to leave, but if he does produce what we all want him to then alot of people will be made to look really stupid! Just leave it at that! and get back on topic!
-
Llorente isnt young! he is 27! Falcao is younger and more talented! alot more talented actually!
-
Midnight kick off isn't to bad! I just cant wait to see Hazard play again! this time against familiar opposition! Cant wait!!!
-
Thats because we had the ultimate big game player in Drogba! had we had RVP, Aguero, Gomez, Ibrahimovic, Rooney, Benzema ect in the team and had to pick one to start as the main striker Drogba would get picked ahead of any of them every time because of what he does in the big games! and as for Spain because they love to over-pass the ball instead of playing early balls through to the striker, when teams park the us against them there is just no space for the striker because Spain take to long with their passing, so its better for them in certain games to play without a striker. So thats really a cheap argument to use against Torres.
-
seriously what is wrong with you? There have been many bigger flops! and as far as im concerned i will wait until the end of Torres's Chelsea career to judge whether he is a flop or not!
-
If we sign Cavani there is absolutely no chance that we will sell Torres! it would in no way make any sense to do that at all! especially not for the reason of 'Sturridge can't be third choice striker' Cavani can cover two positions as he can play as the main striker and if ever needed he can play behind the striker. Sturridge can play in three positions either wing or as the main striker! so it would be pretty stupid to sell Torres and then just use Cavani and Sturridge as strikers when both players are pretty versatile and both could fit into a 4-2-3-1 with Torres as the main striker. Like for example if Mata, Ramires and Marin were rested for one game we could still line up like this. .........................Mikel...............Oscar.......................... ......Sturridge..................Cavani................Hazard........ ......................................Torres...................................
-
nah for me it was all about Mata against Spurs at Wembley! he ran the show Parker couldn't get near him!
-
No thats the reason why he hasn't signed yet because a contract hasn't been sorted yet! they will sort it after the Olympics then once that is done then Oscar will sign.

Haha!!! what stupid logic to use!!! how many teams in PL history had their 1st half of the season destroyed by an incompetent manager! and then a new manager coming in for the 2nd half if the season and not even bother in the PL? Us finishing 6th last season was not a true reflection of what that team was capable of achieving! last season was a real freak season! how many teams have won the CL after finishing 6th in their domestic league? The truth is our squad last season was not the 6th best in the PL had we had a quality manager from the start we would have easily finished somewhere in the top 3!!! now this season we have strengthened and will continue to strengthen! we were really a top 3 club last season and for this season with the squad we are building we are easily a top 2 club and could easily win the PL this season! as i said using last season 6th place finish as some sort of marker of what we can achieve this season is a joke! because we are clearly not the 6th best team in the league! If we can go from finishing 2nd to 6th! im pretty sure we can go from 6th to 1st!!!
-
Silva is in London with Brazil and Ibra wont play! Nothing to worry about!
-
LOL are you serious??? what game are you watching??? Virtually everything Brazil have done has been through Oscar! he is such a tidy player, great passer and is always available! he has been class so far! he is making it look easy out there!
-
still wondering what people see in this guy! he is average at best! again he is showing that!
-
Haha! do people on here actually think we are that far behind the Manchester clubs??? Do people actually think our squad was only good enough to finish 6th last season??? if you do then you need your head tested! its stupid to even look at last season in the PL as some sort of marker as to what we can achieve this season! AVB completely destroyed our team at the start of last season by making them play a style that didn't suit them and played to their weaknesses rather than their strengths! then after that the players lost trust and respect for AVB and things could only go one way from there and that was downhill. Then RDM came in and didn't even bother in the PL and focused more on the cup competitions! so people who think going from 6th to 1st is to much of a jump is deluded! with the squad we could potentially have at the beginging of the season we could easily win back the PL! our squad last season was easily good enough to challenege for the title all the way to final day of the season! if we had Fergie, Pep or Mourinho as our manager last season instead of AVB i would gaurantee we would have at the very very least finished 3rd but probably would have finished in the top 2! So now this season we have added so much more creativity to our team, we will still bring in a RB, Oscar then another front man, while getting rid of some dead wood and our squad will be more than capable of winning the title! but hey these same people who think we cant win the PL this season are probably the same people who thought we could'nt win the CL last season! all i know is we have a great chance of winning the title next season no doubt about that!
-
Ashley may get some minutes, Torres and Terry wont.
-
NO! still early days though we will see how he is performing in a months time.
-
yes i agree he is very much in the same mould of Aguero and Messi, he is stocky like Aguero and has the ability to ride tackles with his great balance like Messi.
-
haha!!! how can anyone think Man U will win the league??? Im pretty sure it will be a two horse race between Chelsea and Man City! with us being to strong for them in the run in! Our squad is easily good enough to win the PL and we haven't even finished spending yet as well! 1. Chelsea 2. Man City 3. Man United 4. Arsenal 5. Newcastle 6. Tottenham 7. Everton
-
very true! he reminds me of Messi in the way that he is a good dribbler and is small but has amazing balance and always tries to stay on his feet! I really like what i saw from Marin as well! and the link up play between Marin and Hazard is very exciting!!!
