  1. That.I've also read that it's possible we never bidded for him. As far as I'm concerned it's great as we shouldn't have in the first place and I've lost count of potential targets that got away in the last 4 transfer windows. But if that's true then someone has to ask the question: How the fuck are the Yidds a major European club?
  2. And it's going to be a "Welcome to Chelsea" post
  3. 5* for TC. Only CFCnet and Bridge Views (whenever Russel posts) are close to TC's level.

  5. Apparently the skin is account-tied. Is there any way to make it cookie-based?
  6. If this is true (and that's a huge if as far as I'm concerned) then these are great news for two reasons : We're finally looking for a right winger, 3 years late but it's something. We're willing to spend £25million on a single player, it's no news for me but hearing this again is reassuring, to say the least. Where are those who claimed that either Roman is a SOB for not spending or that big signings are behind us?
  7. Dunno about that. I expect us to place a bid on the likes of Zenden now..
  8. Bosingwa's contract expires in the summer, even we wouldn't pay 9m for a free agent. Oh and neither Neymar nor Lukaku are going nowhere in January.
  9. Intent is not good enough, there was plenty of it in the summer and we even spent £30 m yet went on to have to worst season since Roman took over. The reassuring this is that the media don't know much about Chelsea's deals. During the summer they had Abramovich flying with his chopper to bid 80m for Torres and in the end all our deals came out of no-where. I'm just hoping the next deal is going to be a positive surprise.
  10. 17 days in January and we still haven't signed anyone despite a couple reported bids. Anything less than two new players will be a crime.
  11. I'd like to know that too. The only thing I was able to find out is that Everton offered him 50-60k per-week bout a year ago so he doesn't even earn that much at the moment..
  12. Fair enough. While I'm not of the opinion that two wrongs make a right it looks like we have to be happy with a 3m wrong that will help us fix our monstrous squad problem.I just don't get how can anyone be delighted with this signing.
  13. Cole, Ballack or even Belletti would have been insurances too. Any injury was easier to predict than the daftness of starting the season with 16 senior outfield players. Why don't we look for a loanee then? Not to mention that we've got 3 midfielders of our own out on loans, they may not be as ready as Pienaar but playing them would be better considering their future with the club, kinda like not playing Borini when the club knew he was going to leave. And don't get me started about Kakuta..
  14. That's a short-sighted approach. Could be, I'm fundamentally against such a move due to the genius that handed Benayoun a three-year deal.
  15. I wonder if I sound like Badboy when LND tries his best to have a proper discussion with me
  16. It's already a war of wages, apparently he agreed 70k with Tottenham so getting him on the free for a couple of years on high wages is pretty similar to paying 3m and 50-60k. In all seriousness, I rate Owen more that our other super-sub/poacher. Sounds better than paying for over-30 players *cough*Benayoun*cough*
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if he knows more than us fans or the journos could possibly hope to
  18. 3m is low risk, especially by our standards. But it's nowhere near being a good deal. People don't realize that in 6 months he's going to be F-R-E-E. You know free like Ballack who was vital in our double winning season and Joe Cole who's as old as Pienaar but has actually been world class in his career.
  19. Great to see Ronaldo and Carlos celebrating together again .
