I don't agree with this trend of having both Aké and Kenedy at lb without a first team kind of player in there. Having both in the team? Hell yes. Having them compete for the same spot? No. They're both good prospects at lb, but that's what they are, good prospects and nothing more, id' rather choose between one of them as second choice lb and then have someone already established in there. How i'd choose between them? That's a tough one, as i like them both.

We had a whole season to prepare ourselves to get a first team quality CB, when we didn't get our main target we didn't know what to do anymore and at deadline day we got this guy, a backup quality cb for a team that needed a first team quality cb, and the results are there for everyone to see, our defence is a pathetic mess. It's not how a club that wants to compete at the top level operates.

And what first team cbs did Barca have? What overall quality Barca has in the whole team? It isn't the same.

"Park the bus" is not an easy tactic to play. People say we "parked the bus" in the past year or so, we didn't, we just tried to defend, failing miserably. We don't even have the players for a proper park the bus, our defence is old and slow, our midfield lacks positioning and is light weight, our attack is full of tiny players who can't find the net regularly (Hazard, Willian) and should be played with a 4-4-2 not a lame 4-2-3-1 an useless and unbalacend system. Not any coach can play "park the bus" because they don't know the first thing about defending without the ball. Unless you think, parking the bus means committing all the players behind the ball without any proper plan, then yes, anyone can play park the bus.

We don't have the players for Sampaoli, we need a whole new defence and more, and if we don't back him up with funds this is going to end in tragedy.
