Carletto Love and respect the man, he is a very, very good manager, especially in cup games, albeit not great. The mistake here from Chelsea was not sacking him, gesture, anyway done in the most embarrassing and disrespectful of ways, but to hire him in the first place. His calmness as he defines it, is indeed a double edged sword; a great motivator, at least to my very limited experience, knows when to shout, insult and spur his players and when being, just as he is, calm and relaxed. I particularly remember that when the news of him being appointed as Chelsea's manager spread, my mate, a Milan's fan, sad and I quote "Chelsea is screwed." It was a bit of a surprise for him when we won the double in his first year, but, eventually he was proven right; even though that was not entirely to blame on Carlo, as exposed above. Very revealing piece of read, my dislike towards Mr Abramovich grows ever so large. Yes, yes he has brought money, but to be his personal luxurious toy is not so alluring; there is a fine line between wanting your (and in this case, his, literally) team to win and just outright meddling in circumstances, I assume, he has not the slightest ideas how to handle properly, from a strictly footballing point of view.

Love the man to bits doesn't matter where he plays.

It's a no brainer to use him or JCS as third choice behind a new CB and Zouma. Just, please let this happen, there is no time like the present to start using some of our own players.

Slap that armband on Zouma's arm when he comes back fully fit.

If I wasn't a Chelsea fan, i would probably think this was one of the most amazing season in the Pl with Leicester winning. The tactical state of this league is decadent though. Hopefully the new managers coming in at big clubs next season will shake it up. It can only go upwards from here.

I've long given up blaming Hiddink for the team selection, as i believe someone else (or a collective of individuals) chooses the line up, or that same someone ties Guus' hands on who to play. It is absurd how we have Tomori on the bench and yet we persist with Ivanovic. At least Traoré is getting the start, which is always nice.
